Bali is a living postcard, an Indonesian paradise that feels like a fantasy. Soak up the sun on a stretch of fine white sand, or commune with the tropical creatures as you dive along coral ridges or the colorful wreck of a WWII war ship. On shore, the lush jungle shelters stone temples and mischievous monkeys. The “artistic capital” of Ubud is the perfect place to see a cultural dance performance, take a batik or silver-smithing workshop, or invigorate your mind and body in a yoga class.

Definitely worth going to. The temple itself on the hill with baths and pond full of fish below it. Everything looks authentic and old. There's no entrance fee, but the representatives of the temple who meet you at the entrance ask for a donation. You can leave any amount. They provide you with a sarong for free. There are two sections for bathing - one with a Waterfall for men and the other simpler one for women. Discrimination, I know. There are changing rooms. The water is transparent and refreshing.

The former royal palace of Tirtagangga (which means water of the Ganges, Hinduism's holy river) features tiered fountains, gardens, and stone sculptures of mythical creatures spouting water into bathing pools. Just outside the palace grounds, the views of the lush rice paddies of northeastern Bali are stunning.
One of our day trips to this beautiful place, lovely gardens to walk around with family or as a couple, A lot of history in the place and you would need a good couple of hours to go round the gardens, there is a restaurant on the premises and not badly priced and good food, take a bottle of cold water with you as it does get hot walking around, Would I go back? YES and I would recommend it

The main gate is at a height on the west side as an entrance that is called "Bale Ship" because the build was once made to resemble a ship. Furthermore, this bale of our entrance into the park area with hundreds of fruits down the stairs. From this spot the entire area of the park can be enjoyed. According to the predicate as the Kingdom Water Park on the Water Place, The Park has three large pool and spacious. In the middle of the pond, they have on the extreme north of main building called " Gili Bale " which area connected by bridges to the south.
Between the volcano and the sea is located in Ujung Water Palace, surrounded by beautiful gardens with bridges and elegant sculptures Royal water castle also shows typical Balinese architecture. The complex is very well maintained.

The USS Liberty Wreck is the most famous dive site in Bali. It is also one of the best sunken ship wrecks in the world! If you come to Bali, you absolutely have to dive there The liberty ship was hit by a Japanese torpedo then was beached near Tulamben. In 1963, the eruption of Mount Agung caused the vessel to slip off the beach, and it now lies on a sand slope in 9 to 30 m of water. The wreck is about 130 m long with the shallowest part at about 5 m deep and the deepest on the other side of the wreck at about 30 m deep.
A great wreck to dive for all levels of experience. Just a short swim from the shore and you will find a very well preserved ship. Shallow enough for beginners and interesting enough for the experienced diver. Only downside is the amount of traffic due to its accessibility.

An insightful tour of Tabanan Palace, a wonderful meal fit for Kings - as we dined with the Raja himself! Traditional dancing, which we were encouraged to join, followed by the main event... A special, beautiful trance dance by 2 girls like Dedari (Angels) and then 2 young men on hobby horses stamping though fire while in trance! This was the first event of it's kind held here for tourists/expats... they will be holding more events in future.

Klungkung Temple and Klungkung Palace is a historical building complex situated in Semarapura, the capital of the Klungkung Regency (kabupaten) on Bali, Indonesia. The palace (puri) was erected at the end of the 17th century, but largely destroyed during the Dutch colonial conquest in 1908. Today the basic remains of the palace are the court of justice, the Kertha Gosa Pavilion, and the main gate that bears the date Saka 1622 (AD 1700). Within the old palace compound is also a floating pavilion, Bale Kambing, which was added in the 1940s. The descendants of the rajas that once ruled Klungkung today live in Puri Agung, a residence to the west of the old palace, which was built after 1929.
Klungkung Palace and temple were visited on our way to Besakih Temple during our vacation in Bali. This place is not too touristy and actually quite calm. It calls to visit this place. There is a small entrance fee but worth the experience. There is a museum besides the temple and the court of justice as well. The rooftop of one of the places inside depicts paintings - which are quite good. We also bought one handmade painting of Hindu God Ganesha from a painter who sat in one of the buildings there. Recommended for visit.

Yeh Pulu Temple Build on 14th or 15th century and are in a very attractive rice field setting. You can reach Yeh Pulu on foot through the rice fields from Goa Gajah but you will definitely need a guide for the 45 minute walk as there is no path to speak of. Alternatively turn off the Ubud to Gianyar main road about 400 metres east of the entrance to the Goa Gajah complex. Drive through Banjar Batulumbang until the road comes to an end. For here walk down the track to Yeh Pulu passing the small warung on your left. As well as the carvings there is a holy well here and the attendant priest will be happy to bless you with the well water. Temple dress code applies here. Yeh Pulu is a much under-rated and under-visited site - highly recommended.
We were dropped off and visited the elephant caves and from there walked through some villages to Yeh Pulu. The entry ticket is not expensive but we noticed the elderly ticket seller was quick to take our money but a bit slow on issuing the tickets until we reminded him. We were met at the car park by our drivers so weren’t hassled by any one for a tour guide! It is not the temple that you come to see but the beautiful narrative engraved in the rock face that was created between the 11th - 14th century. A lovely setting but a beautifully preserved rock carving. Highly recommended but doesn’t take long to see.

Peliatan Royal Palace is home to the Peliatan Royal Family since 1769 The Peliatan Royal Family is the protector of Dalem Sukawati's amulets and weapons We are open to public and requests no entrance fee Cokorda Agung Krisna Dalem Member of the central family of the 10th generation
It’s free and just of Jalan Raya in the centre of Ubud. The royal palace has many pavilions and beautiful sculptures and the gardens are bursting with tropical photo opportunities. Because we were there in Feb, during the corona virus scare and theoretically the rainy ( low) season, it was quite empty. I have heard in high season it can get pretty packed, but if you happen to be travelling soon, I definitely recommend spending a little while within the walls of the Royal Palace compound and stepping back in time.
