Stangehuvud Naturreservat

Reviewed By Bandit-One - Lucerne, Switzerland

We stayed nearby this area for a couple of days and really felt like walking that day. We parked on Drottninggatan close to the harbourfront. From there we entered the Reserve from the North (near the Marina). As soon as you go around the corner from the Marina you'll be quite surprised. You wouldn't expect such an impressive Reserve so close to a town. It's really just around the corner but feels like another world. The views are amazing and the rocks and rock formations impressive. We brought our dog with (an English Bulldog). She did amazingly well. Just at the very beginning on the Northern Entrance a few steps leading up were too big and steep, so we carried her quick. Later on there's an easy trail leading back to town. Or you can follow a tougher route (sometimes no route at all) leading towards the famous Fyrhuset. We had fun exploring the area as did our dog. Nice views and nature and it was just fun climbing around here. Sometimes taking a break - sitting on some rocks - to take in the amazing landscape. If you only need to park up to 4 hours, then there's a free parking lot just south of the Gullmarsgymnasiet. If you are around this area - even an hour or two away - be sure not to miss out on this terrific Nature Reserve.

This short hike was recommended by Hannah while we waited to have our room cleaned. We arrived before check-in time. The hike was a terrific way to spend a couple of hours before we went into to Grebbestad for a late lunch. I would recommend this easy hike for anyone. The rocks are easy to move on and the path is well marked if you use the “red route”. Since there was a strong wind we got to see wonderful waves crashing over the rocks.

Awsome and really nice place to visit outside Stockholm on a spring day as well as summer day Well worth the 150sek admisson fee to enter. And to not only the out door statues, you have inside the art gallery as well. If you are hungry of just want some cofee or tea there is a smaller restaurant with easier food.

My 11yo son and I followed Bohusleden to and through Delsjön Nature Reserve. What a beautiful area. There are many seperate trails that can be followed, as well as Bohusleden. The main paths are well marked and even surfaced. There are countless places to sit and ejoy the review around the lake, or to take swim and cool off. There is even a beach area and a wonderful place to fika (Kaffestugan Lyckan). In this same area you will also find bathrooms, fresh water and places to rent a canoe, or go fishing. There are several rest areas around the lake where you can have a picnic. This area is great for anyone who wants to be out for just a short walk, or spend the day.

World Heritage Grimeton Radio Station

Reviewed By tinaq_reviews - Moscow, Russia

A unique World heritage site, this Radio station is one of the industrial cultural heritage sites of Europe. It is very interesting and its place in history of 20th century is remarkable. There were no guided tours on the day we visited, so we just walked around, bought some souvenirs and enjoyed the small museum inside an air raid bunker. Best to be visited by car, the closest bus stop is still quite far away.

Southern Goteborg Archipelago

Reviewed By lydiagiannakou

It is the perfect option for a sunny day. the trip to the islands of the southern archipelago is cheap and fast, and there are frequent ferry-trips all day long. Also, you have the option of island-hopping, where you can visit more than one islands in a day. I visited the island of Styrso, which was truly beautiful. If the weather allows it, make sure you carry a swimsuit, because there are also places at the island where you can anjoy a swim.
