It's real amazing gorge, with breathtaking views. We were here at February 2020, weather was about +9 C Road from Kalabaka was long and hard a bit but it really worth it

The museum also houses a rare collection og Byzantine icons. Recently opened on the third floor is the apartment of Evangelos Averoff-Tossizza. Most impressive stairs up the steep hill, making visitors understand the past hurdles of trade across the region (from Konstantinople to the west by foot or donkeys/mules). Of you feel up to the challenge, you climb them. Else, enjoy the view and continue to an easier hike to Beloi viewpoint, seeing the magnitude of the Vikos gorge at it’s best.
