Local da Antiga Sinagoga de Coimbra. Capela de N.Sra.da Vitória Séc. XIV (1361).Casa de Fado àCapella
My husband and I had a great experience at this fado house two years ago. Without hesitation, we made a reservation to watch another show here on our second trip to Portugal a few weeks ago. In addition to the lovely music, they talk about the history of fado, the Coimbra form, its use during the resistance, etc. The show generally lasts from 9:30 - 11:30 PM, with breaks in between for food and drink service. It cost approximately 25 Euros for the show and 2 glasses of wine each. A true treat. We will be back on our third trip!

Foz d'Egua is the mid-point of a gorgeous hike loop from Piódão. It's about an hour each way, and leave extra time to explore Foz d'Egua. There's a longer hike from Foz d'Egua that is about 5 hours total and maps are available near the pool.
