Spent a few days at Thessaloniki with my family during the holidays and had a chance to visit and decided to give it a try...We chose Ali mama which is one of the most popular services they provide ...there is a range of services to choose from fit for anyone who needs to relax rest or just feel like a baby being spoilt by endless pampering! The whole establishment is new, an impressive first view of the recently renovated makedonia palace hotel...still nothing can prepare you for the hot area which literally takes you to a trip to the east...huge impressive construction worth every penny just to see the place and the heat and humidity perfectly balanced throughout...! Once you enter you find a nice spot to relax for about half an hour rinsing yourself periodically with cold water from the marble troughs which are ideally placed to ensure minimal effort...the ritual is effective and very relaxing....and then one of the specialized stuff of the hammam escorts you to the marble beds where you get your bath followed by the massage during which you are very likely to slip into a dream like state! After that you get some time to come together and once you exit the hot area are led to a spacious and very atmospheric sitting area for some tea and sweets until your body’s temperature returns to normal levels....It is a precious experience and one try will never be enough! We booked our next visit immediately as we exited ! Not to be missed!

I never had a message if this kind before, since from my knowledge, nothing this authentic is offered in the United States. I was a bit nervous since I get a bit ticklish, but this experience was amazing! When me and my friend walked in, the staff was welcoming and served us tea, water and snacks. The place was beautiful and incredibly clean. Our wait was not long at all, and we then changed into our swimsuits and had a locker to put our stuff. The massage itself was AMAZING! The staff had great communication, and were very professional. I was initially afraid I would get ticklish, but because they massage you with water and bubbles, I feel there was less friction and I was not ticklish at all, which made it super enjoyable. It’s a whole body message, and they wash your hair too, which was awesome! They also provide a blow dryer, lotion, hair brushes, hair gel, etc., to style your hair after which was great! Overall HIGHLY recommend!! If anyone plans to go to Greece, you definitely have to try this!

Sunrise spa is a beautiful environment with a luxurious touch, situated at the new marina of Rhodes. The expertise physiotherapist is ideal for the treatment but also the turkish bath! Refreshing!

The place is nice and the service is friendly. They do have the Moroccan type of hammam which was like a steam bath. So not the original Turkish bath I have been expecting. I wasn’t though at all disappointed since everyone was so nice and then I received one of the best massages I’ve ever had from Maria. If you ever find yourself in Patras it’s worthwhile visiting Edem.
