We were invited to the golf club for the Italian pub grub evening on 27 February. We started the meal with a delicious sharing antipasto which comprised very generous servings of different cured meats, olives, tapenade, sundried tomato, cheeses, bruschetta bread slices and rocket salad. For the main course my husband had fegato all a Venezia with onions and a delicious Marsala sauce. I had Arrostocini , lamb kebabs with stuffed baby pepper, roasted vegetables and gnocchi which was also excellent. For dessert my husband had a lovely Tiramisu and I had a delicious cherry and almond tart, both homemade and flavoursome. It was excellent value for money. The waiting staff were very attentive and we had a very enjoyable evening. Thank you to the chefs and all the staff. I certainly recommend eating at Copt Heath.

The hidden gem in the heart of the Midlands. Designed by Alister MacKenzie the course still retains some of the characteristic two-tiered greens and irregular shaped bunkers with an adundance of well established trees. Visitors, societies and corporate days are welcome with golf days being tailored to meet individual requirements.
I recently visited the golf club and was delighted with the welcome I received. I was on my own which can sometimes be difficult in a place where members are in attendance and all know each other well, but the staff welcomed me with open arms. The bar staff were my first contact and they knew their products very well when I wasn’t sure what to have and were extremely chatty where appropriate making me feel much more at ease in the club. I then went onto order a meal which was amazing, some of the best food I have had, and the kitchen staff were also amazing! The staff have an extremely friendly relationship with one another and make you feel immediately comfortable and part of their little family. I believe Walsall Golf Club is a lovely, friendly, inviting place and I will most certainly be applying for a membership, you should too!!!

Designed in 1908 by 6-time Open Champion Harry Vardon and later re-modelled by Harry Colt, Little Aston was rated the No 1 parkland course in England in the 2019 Golf World Rankings. Although a traditional members Club, Little Aston extends a warm welcome to Societies and Visitors throughout the year (excluding Saturdays). Visitors are urged to take the time before or after your round to have a drink on the terrace overlooking our unique putting course, which should also be experienced at some point during your visit.
As part of a three day trip to play golf in the Birmingham area, my brother and I planned Little Aston for the final day. On arrival we were greeted in the pro shop and given a tour around the clubhouse and permitted access to the members changing rooms (as there was a tournament on that morning using the Visitors facilities). After a lovely Panini lunch and a pint we played two rounds on the iconic and splendid putting Green, something to behold, before teeing off for our round. Despite heavy rain for the final 6 holes, this could not detract from a lovely course in immaculate condition (The greens although not as fast as some, were true and very receptive to well struck approach shots) The lay out reveals itself to you as you play with only a small section where you can see the next 2 holes to come, and there are some stunning looking holes along the way Favourites being the 6th, 9th and 17th. Couldn't quite get our heads around the 4th being SI 1 - when there appeared to us to be far more challenging holes on the course. The friendliness and the welcome of the staff both in the Pro Shop and the clubhouse was lovely and set the club apart from others I have played - The original lockers from the clubs founding smell of history and the atmosphere at the club is one of a very special members club. I would certainly play again and the course rates as one of the best courses I have played that I would be happy to play regularly as a member. Unlike some where you have a great course and a great experience but not one you would necessarily want to play as your home club. Little Aston feels like a great "Home" Club. We look forward to visiting again and thanks to the club and it's staff for a great day

No time to play on a full size course? No problem. With undulating greens, numerous bunkers, water hazards and hundreds of trees, we have designed the 18 individual holes on our Par-3 course to emulate the experience found on a full size course. An experienced player can get around all 18 holes in an hour, but if you want to relax, soak up the picturesque South Staffordshire countryside then feel free to spend all day!

Went on a golf outing with a few friends. Course was in excellent condition. Venue itself very COVID conscious with one way system, screens separating ppl and the bar. Very well organised. Definitely recommended for both golf and bar facilities.

Just had a takeaway French meal from Druids Heath GC and it was lovely. Really efficient booking friendly service and a delicious 2 course meal. They're doing a different country every Friday night and we will definitely be joining them on their "globe trotting" again.
