I have played here many times I-am yet to master the course great holes great greens a good selection of holes A very good clubhouse and very friendly staff It’s a tough cookie So bring your best game You won’t be disappointed

i love this place it has a great layout but if you like your golf courses flat dont come here up your up and down you can always buggy i would recommend this course to any body great clubhouse great staff well worth a visit

Due to Covid 19 our plans to eat at the golf club were spoiled. However they are offering a delivery and collect service. The dinner was superb tender beef and well cooked vegetables which travelled well.. we were also given an extra pot of gravy to add to the home cooked giant Yorkshire pudding. At £6.50 an absolute steal. My husband also chose treacle pudding with custard £1.50 for a huge portion. The pick up was well organised so social distance was not compromised. Absolutely delicious We will definitely order again. Thank you.

We visited this elegant mansion set in beautiful grounds with a friend and had a meal here. Staff were really friendly, food was delicious and great value for money. There was plenty choice and environment was very relaxing. After our meal we had a walk around the well-tended grounds. This would be a great venue for celebrating a special occasion. We will definitely return.

Since being refurbished the golf club is a first class venue. Openly attracts non golfers, with social membership. 25% off drinks; special nights,sometimes 40%. Layout and decor very good. Food excellent too, best tartare sauce, tasted.Since becoming members, we haven't crossed the door of the local pub. Bus stop right outside too.

Had a girls get together at this fabulous lodge!! The location is excellent nicely out of the way for peace and quiet but near enough to explore some fabulous places. Finchale Abbey is right on your door step. Excellent walks. We didn't play golf but the course and driving range looked great.The accomadation it's self was absolutely perfect 10/10.Everything you needed. The owners could not do enough for us really helpful and friendly. It's a lovely family run golf course and accommodation. I would deffinatly reccomend and we have already booked another stay and cant wait to return xxx

Credit where it is due, this course is in fantastic condition and a hidden gem. Greens are fast and true, fairways in great condition and a real nice walk. Well done to all the staff. Well worth a visit

Brilliant meal in a lovely setting. Steak had a smoky sear and served with the most perfect chips, a nice sauce to accompany, the duck was so flavoursome too. The cheeseboard was a perfect selection served with juicy grapes and a slightly overly cinnamon infused chutney, thankfully the quality cheeses shon through! Very enjoyable meal and such good value!
