Gamefish is a destination for those interested in fishing, shooting and hunting. Although its primarily a store that sells high end goods for fieldsports in scotland its also a location to chat and relax with like minded individuals in a traditional environment. The local staff are experienced and knowledgeable in the Uk sporting scene and its the perfect location to kickoff a trip around scotland

I visited Emma Roy’s last week with my mum and I have to say it was such a lovely experience. I was a little worried as I had heard some negative comments about the shop over the last few years but Mairi the assistant was superb. She was really patient and made it such a lovely experience. I hadn’t realised that the shop has been recently taken over so I wanted to let other brides know this in case they, like me, were worried about the service they would receive. I would absolutely recommend going to Emma Roy’s for your wedding dress.

What a cute cafe! Overlooking princes street with a view or the Edinburgh castle, surrounded by books. Staff were friendly and made an amazing coffee. Amazing place to come if you want to update your book collection whilst sitting down for a bit to eat and drink. Loved my visit here xx

For two centuries the Laing family has been at the forefront of the Scottish jewellery trade. Established in 1840 by James Laing, the company quickly became known for exceptional design and superior craftsmanship – a reputation that has only grown over some 175 years. Laing has a long tradition in both the manufacture and wholesale of fine jewellery and watches.
