Nestled in the heart of the Ribble Valley Holden Clough Nurseries is a world of 'All Things Garden Since 1927'
Holden Clough has expanded so much and what they have achieved is stunning. Went to their Christmas market on Sunday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Something a bit different. Love the massive fire pit, the Shepherds Hut for food and the many beautiful areas of Christmas decorations. Gorgeous fairy lights gave the place a magical feel. Always someone on hand too to give advice about plants etc.

Ken Varey's Town & Country Wear is a unique shopping experience with the largest selection of premium brands in country clothing and footwear; including Barbour, Joules, Dubarry, Aigle, loake Shoemakers and more.
Even though we are in a Lockdown and I live 250 miles away Georgina and team persevered in finding me a stylish pair of Dubarry boots to fit my freakishly large left calf. It gave us all a laugh and if I’m ever in the area I feel I must pay a visit to thank them in person

Come and join us for a visit to our self-sustainable organic farm based near Pendle hill! - Perfect for children and groups or individuals who would like to witness a working organic farm and learn more about alternative farming as well as meet our animal friends. Fun and free! Everyone welcome!
Recently went to visit Gazegill on our way to a family weekend get together. There were 12 of us in total including 4 children and a baby and we had an excellent tour of the farm. The children loved looking at the animals especially the piglets - all well looked after. The tour was very informative and certainly made me want to eat more organic food. The farm shop was well stocked and prices very reasonable. We don't live very close but I would certainly consider ordering online. I would recommend a visit here.

Best independent wine shop in the country without a shadow of a doubt. The awards they have received over the years speak volumes. Very friendly staff, never to busy to help and give advice. On many occasions when asked they will recommend a more inexpensive wine vs the one I am asking about. The diversity of the range is stunning, and I have never noticed a wine which they stock cheaper anywhere else, including the large supermarkets! Their shop is a joy to browse, like Willy Wonka's sweet shop, but for adults and alcohol! I was saddened to just read a bad review below just now, and I wonder what side of the bed they woke up on?!? Maybe the staff were simply busy at the time, as non of the staff have ever come across as rude to me and I have never noticed them be rude to anybody else, and I have been going there since 2003 !! Jealous competitors have a habit of leaving fake bad reviews. In my opinion, go and make up your own mind, and you simply will not be disappointed! Andrew, Philip, Jo and Co, keep up the great work!
