OPEN MEMORIAL DAY THRU EARLY OCTOBER. This is a seasonal, one-woman working studio with all pottery being made on-site by the shop owner. The potter's wheel is located in the front of the shop and customers are encouraged to watch Julie throwing her pieces there. The glaze/kiln area is open for viewing as well. Questions about the pots and process are always welcome. Her work focuses on functional, practical pottery meant to be used and to enhance your quality of life on a daily basis. Located in the Visitor Center at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, the Gift Shop proudly features the work of over 85 Maine artisans alongside gardening tools, cookbooks, hats, jewelry, and more. The Shop also carries a selection of fairy-themed products perfect for the weekly "Fairy Fridays" held at the Gardens in July and August.

We require social distancing and masks.Our FARM: We are a small, family run alpaca farm located on picturesque Southport Island, off Boothbay Harbor, an hour + from Portland. We offer unique alpaca treks in a magical Maine island setting. All farm visits, private tours and treks are booked online on our website. Any questions please feel free to call or email. Our farm gift shop is open - please call if you would like to schedule an appointment. All our alpaca yarns are mill spun in Maine from our animals raised here. We also carry luxurious alpaca products hand crafted by artisans in Lima, Peru. We sell Altera Alpaca socks made in the states from U.S. Alpacas. These days, the shop is ruthlessly run by Max and his two hench-dogs whilst we obey his every order, however ridiculous.
