The scenes in the way to Acsibi are unreal. Nice 1.5hr hike through drastic scenery changes until arrival at a very cozy unique spot with caves, picnic spots and endless climbing opportunities for the younger ones. We did it with a 14, 12 and 8 year old. Run by a family that has been in Business for over 30 years and with ownership of the land for over 5 generations. The Aban family are a true example of protecting the Land, respecting their heritage, knowing their history and they are a strong driver promoting sustainability practices and bringing their small Seclantas village together providing progress, jobs and protecting their culture and history. This trip is a mist without a doubt, and the Adan family are a delight to meet. Enjoy!

Purmamarca is a really beautiful town , the church, the old tree in its yard, the hill , of course, the llamas, the food ( we bought empanadas and we ate them while walking by the streets) . It’ s a gift for your eyes & soul.

We were on a small group tour from Cachi to Cafayate. The journey along the dusty winding road with the even changing mountain scenery was quite spectacular. When we came across the Natural Park where the eroded cliffs resembled arrow heads, we were out of the small bus in an instance to take in the stunning views of the area. This area is not easy to describe as it was so different to anywhere else. Well worth the trip. I recommend a tour as the roads are not easy to navigate.

You will not see a more perfect natural cone in the world. About 70 km from Tolar Grande, comes into view the most amazing site. Set on the edge of the Salar de Arizaro, on a high plateau, surrounded by salt, the dark mass makes a striking image. Another must see place on La Puna, Northwest Argentina. Gilles

I loved this area with so many amazing rock formations. It was a short walk into the amphitheater from our bus and we were fortunate to have a market seller play music for us with our guide. Such a lovely sound echoing through the rock formation. We were sad to see some silly young people climb up on the rock wall, surely that is forbidden.
