Just two hours north of London by rail, the city of York holds 1900 years' worth of history in its ancient walls. The Romans built the city in 71 AD, and the Vikings captured it in 866 AD. Stop by the Yorkshire Museum and Gardens for a look at what the Roman and Vikings left behind (they must have packed light when they left). From there, move on to the York Castle Museum for a not-so-quick overview of the most recent 400 years.

Great news, BELONG has landed in York. A cutting-edge Gaming Arena where you get the chance to play hard, test the latest tech and join other like minded gamers across multiple platforms including PC, PS4 and Xbox One. It’s an opportunity to catch up and challenge pals in person, not over a headset, because gaming together is altogether better. It’s time to BELONG.

What a fantastic time we had at the Yorkshire Activity Centre on the hottest day of the year. We did quad biking and then the triple A package with our family group of 8. Everything was very well organised and the team were very flexible in swapping things around so that we could do all activities in the sweltering heat. Both instructors were brilliant but we can’t quite remember their names (Den and Baz??). Thank you, we’ll be back.

York's first cat cafe located within a grade II listed building within the heart of the city. Come and enjoy coffee and cake with some lovely cats.
My partner and i spent a lovely hour here as part of our visit to York. We were lucky to be the only 2 people booked into the 12 time slot (both the 11 and 13.15 were busy) so had all the cats to ourselves :-) The cafe is clean and comfortable with plenty of seating spread over 2 floors. We were given a warm and friendly welcome, and the tea and cake was delicious, the plate covers coming in very handy with 2 greedy cats after any crumbs lol! The cats were of course the star attraction and we spent a lovely hour playing with them and watching them jump about the many cat trees around the cafe We will def visit again, just wish we stayed closer.

Located inside a family-friendly pub, this huge warehouse is full of children's play equipment divided into sections according to age, from the "under-two's" to teens.
Came in today before visiting the pub, was clean and the kids loved it. Not our first visits and certainly won’t be our last.

SO much to say! Booked a 2 hour slot, managed to let my 2 younger boys run off some steam (aged 7 and 11). Had some pizzas as a snack which were to die for. Tables laid out great for social distancing. Hand sanitizer everywhere, great admission process. Felt extremely safe! We then went out to the funfair which was just as much fun, no waiting for rides and you could ride as much as you liked. Staff were cleaning and sanitising rides in between too which I thought was reassuring! My boys loved the haunted house it was a good giggle and lots of younger children did. Nothing awful in there, no horrid things jumping at you or anything like that!!! Excellent service excellent value, excellent company!!! WE WILL BE BACK!
