We MUCH preferred aqua zorbing to harness zorbing (which we did a couple of years back), as found it much less bumpy - harness zorbing hurt our necks and shoulders, but we are in our mid-30's so not as resilient as we used to be! There was not as much water pumped inside the sphere as I had imagined, you sort of lie down in it at the start. But once the ball starts moving there is definitely more than enough water! haha Towels and a change of clothes are definitely required if you’re Aqua Sphering as you do get soaked! The water is icy when you get in, but quickly get used to it and only actually inside the ball for around 5 minutes total. I think the downhill spin only lasts about 1 minute although it feels a LOT longer when you're tumbling around inside! Definitely a warm weather activity though! Husband was glad he followed advice and wore long sleeves as he thought his arms would of gotten scratched on the zorb otherwise, but I'm a lot shorter and was happy in my tshirt. You take off your shoes before getting inside the sphere and walk back up the hill to collect them afterwards. We bought the photo inside the zorb, which was rather disappointing (not flattering), but only £5 so worth a try! Luckily we got some AMAZING footage on the gopro as my husband took a video and it's hilarious! Especially my wipeout at the end! haha The site is pretty basic but you're not there long. There's a portaloo and a small cabin to get changed in, several picnic benches and the reception area, but thats about. We were really lucky this time as arrived early and within 10 minutes were inside our zorbing sphere! Last time, when we went harness zorbing, there was quite a lengthy wait, but I guess numbers are strictly limited due to covid regulations which meant less waiting around for us. There was a steady stream of people going zorbing (harness & aqua on same slope), but staff moved everyone along quickly and safely. A little off the beaten track but we just followed our sat nav and easy enough to find, just allow plenty of time to travel the small country roads and advised to arrive 15 minutes before your booking. All staff very helpful and friendly, especially the lady on the phones who helped us rearrange our activity at short notice when there was a local lockdown. Highly recommend!

We are one of the only facilities in the area which offer Axe-Throwing and Airsoft shooting range. These activities are supervised professionals.
My husband and I had a rare hour away from the kids & got some different stress relief with the axe throwing!! It was great, I didn't get it in mostly but I did at times and I still had fun. Something totally different and I am looking forward to trying out their other activities which they have and are getting.

A day of adventure awaits at the National Forest Adventure Farm, whatever the weather. You can meet and feed the animals, explore the outdoor Funfield and have fun in the huge indoor play area. Meet a host of farm animals including pigs, sheep, cows and goats. In the spring and summer you can also bottle feed our lambs. You can cuddle a rabbit or guinea pig and see our more unusual animals such as alpaca, reindeer and chipmunks. We also have daily animal activities including pony grooming, milking demonstrations and egg collecting. The huge Funfield features a range of have a go activities including Go-Karts, assault course, mini golf, jumping pillow and in the summer the Water Splash Out. Why not take a tractor and trailer ride around the farm and look out for the scarecrows? The 3000m² indoor playbarn features a huge soft play area with demon drop slides. There's an under 5's area with a ball pit and giant Lego construction zone. Enjoy eating out or picnicking at one of our landscaped areas on sunny days, or in our airy 120-seat restaurant. In the summer, the Farm is home to a huge 10 acre maize maze. So take on the challenge of 3 miles of pathways, bridges and viewing towers.
We visited this farm this Sunday for the morning session. We arrived around 10 and were initially concerned by how busy the car park was, however that proved to be completely unnecessary once we got inside as it was clear numbers have been restricted and we never felt crowded on the farm. I was so impressed with how the farm have implemented measures to be Covid secure. All of the attractions have hand sanitiser, limited numbers (some of which, such as the bouncing pillows, are enforced by staff), social distancing markers and staff cleaning all rides between gos. I felt so safe all day thanks to this careful planning. There is a great range of activities including various rides (tractor, train like thing), a maize maze, sand pit (bring your own bucket) along with lots of animals that we purchased food for and fed as we went round. We stayed until half 1 and had an absolutely brilliant time!

Awesome Walls Stoke is one of England's largest dedicated bouldering centres. It comprises over 900 square metres of bouldering made up of walls and features of all angles to keep you happy every visit! There is climbing surface spread over two extensive floors including everything from slabs to the totally insane massive overhanging roof. In addition to this there is also an Awesome training area for you to target and develop specific pulling power. Most of the bouldering walls are 4.5 metres tall, but there are smaller walls especially designed for younger climbers. There is also a cafe with seating on both floors, where you can stop to refuel or just chill out and watch the action, a massive viewing gallery. As with all Awesome Walls Climbing Centres the problems are changed frequently so there is always a new challenge for you to get your teeth into.
We brought our children for the kids club and keep bringing them back. Both children love their new sport. It’s a pleasure to watch them trying new things and developing new skills every time we visit. Instructors here are brilliant and staff are very friendly. They are in the middle of some refurbishments which will be finished soon hopefully. This will hugely expand the number of routes to try out. There’s still plenty to do now but it may be a little busier than usual. All facilities are excellent, there’s shoe hire, lockers, restrooms and a very nice cafe. There’s also ample car-parking right outside. It can be a bit tricky finding the place the first time even with sat-nav. The turning for the road leading to it is just after the exit from the roundabout coming from the A50; so, just take your time.
