Iron Nation Axe Throwing

This is a great place for a night out with friends and adult family members. You can easily book a lane online to reserve a spot. Pay at the door when you arrive. There are alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages for purchase. You can bring your own snacks in or order delivery to the location. At the start of the 'games', a leader will demonstrate different methods of axe throwing and give you tips so that everyone is able to be successful (my 70 year old father with rotator cuff issues was successful and able to participate happily). The leader will then lead groups thru games and keep score so that you can socialize with your friends and enjoy your night. A great evening out for all (and only for adults which is a nice break for people with kids)!

My husband and I visited here on a whim and were very pleasantly surprised. We had so much fun. We visited on a Wednesday when they have unlimited play for $5 cover. The drinks are reasonably priced and the staff is friendly. It was busy but we still had a lot of choice with retro arcade games to play.

We visited Jack's with friends (11 people in total) and were looking for something that would engage the youngest (10) to the oldest (45). The sign in and waiver was efficient. It looks like they are preparing to move to an online waiver system. We had to purchase socks ( good quality and comfortable) for certain areas of the facility. In total, we had piles of fun The rope course was challenging enough, the ninja warrior area humbled even the strongest of us. We had fun challenging each other and the ease of interaction with the clerks on the games made it welcoming and very social. We never really had to wait long for any one game. In total, I highly recommend this business for people who enjoy challenging fun. Hopefully, it will be franchised in the future and we'll see it open up in other cities. Two criticisms for the business are the disappointment that there is nowhere to secure valuables. They have lockers which you cannot lock. We had to leave valuables in a car. Not so happy about that idea. Lastly, we brought snacks because of the day pass and had to eat them in the lobby. A small lunch room or snacking area would be a nice improvement.

Vertical Zone Trampoline Centre

We are Barrie's trampoline gym. "Trampoline is, in my opinion, the most enjoyable form of exercise there is. Jumping on the trampoline is an excellent cardio workout, tones all your muscles, works the lymphatic system, and improves bone density. Other benefits include improved spacial awareness, coordination, balance, body control, and core strength." - Jeff McCabe, Head Coach We have 9 competition grade trampolines that are much bouncier than your average backyard Trampoline. Our NCCP trained coaches help the athletes improve their muscule control while jumping on the trampolines. They will take the athlete from doing simple skills like tuck jumps to front tucks to barani-out tucks (dbl. front tuck with a half twist). We are a proud member of Gymnastics Ontario and meet their standards for safety.

My husband and I with our three adult children had a great time here on the first day it opened after COVID necessitated a long break. High quality gear and well-communicated instructions and procedures made us feel safe. Heath was an engaging and energetic Marshall who helped everyone enjoy themselves. The outdoor set up and props were impressive. We definitely felt the adrenaline and were exhausted by the end. A lot of sore muscles but only a few minor bruises. The children said it was the best paintball experience they have had and and plan to go back.
