Oakdale Bees is set in 4 acres of wild meadow fields which border Royal Windsor forest. The Apiary was founded in 2015. Elisabeth has fulfilled a lifelong passion to care and work with bees. In the company’s early days, the house was filled with the sweet smell of warm beeswax, but the growing operation recently moved to a dedicated site in our wild meadow fields.

Create your very own, unique, souvenir of Windsor! We have everything from castles to crowns, a beautiful princess (& her frog prince), soldiers & dragons… and so much more. A great family experience. Wow your friends & family back home when they ask –“where did you buy that?” you can proudly say “but I made it myself”. Your trip isn’t complete without a visit to the Hands-on Art Studio. Join in one of our holiday activities - you could throw your own pot on our wheel. Just 5 minutes drive from the centre of Windsor, on the edge of the Great Park, (free parking) or make a day of it by hopping on & off the red double-decker tour bus at the Windsor Farm Shop. Local? We are the most popular creative party venue in Windsor for children, families and Hens! We also run arts & craft courses & workshops for adults and kids.
We have been doing activities with Hands On Art for a few years now. We have two daughters and have always been warmly welcomed by Janet and have great fun. We started with the pottery wheel class, and are now regular visitors - we love painting pots, cookie jars, and cups. We are delighted that Janet has been running a click and collect service, which has been a wonderful way to have fun over the lockdown period. We have ordered some baubles for us to have some activities over the Christmas break. Once painted we drop them back to Janet, and then of course the excitement of collection post-firing. Highly recommended for a few hours in the studio (as far as 2020 allows) or as many hours as you want to take - through click and collect. Thanks Janet!! Ken, Sarah, Amy and Lucy

An amazing, exciting and fun experience for a group of 11 year olds, from the beginning with the pirate ????☠️ captain meeting us in full costume at reception, to the end when they all finally escape - really brilliant and a marvellous way to celebrate a Birthday too. The kids managed well and were guided by clues when needed, they managed really well for most of it. Excellent and highly recommended! Emmy

I am very lucky, to live within walking distance, lived in Ascot for over 32 years, but only discovered the internal tarmac track within Ascot race track - The Heath - only 2 years ago for walking the dogs. The circuit is 1.2 miles approx and with a little incline to make you work a little (cardio) and takes about 25 - 40 mins, depending on pace. Social distancing observed obviously. Recommended, lots of sky to take in and It gives you a mindful lift, in normal times coffee shops, eateries and bakers in High Street. Entrance through Ascot High Street and Winkfield Rd by Walkway tunnels under the grass track.

Delta Force Paintball in Maidenhead is set over 100 acres of woodland in Berkshire. No expense was spared across the 7 fantastic game zones, including a convoy of giant Soviet-era military trucks sourced direct from Daniel Craig’s first 007 movie Casino Royale. With a variety of incredible movie-set scenarios, including the largest Galleon in the UK, and a relaxed basecamp set in woodland, this centre is one of the UK's most impressive paintball venues.
A party of four of us attended for a birthday celebration and we came here for the first time and was delighted by all the staff members, had a great day from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff want to say a massive Thanks especially to Paige and Haiden for all your help especially in offering to go back onto the field to go look for my inhaler which I dropped somewhere during a game, unfortunately it was not found but it was above and beyond what other organisations would’ve done. All four of us agree that we will definitely be coming back for another session again at some point. If you’re thinking of trying paintballing for the first time or even been before I would definitely recommend this site for a day of fun.
