All these while I brought my kids to Cineplex to watch movies. But after we been to this Landmark Theater/cinema to watch movie we will not wanna to go other cinema. 1st is because the location is just besides of Guildford mall and Wal-Mart, 2nd is because the seats are super comfortable (leather seats with reclining to almost sleeping position), 3rd is because the ticket price is slightly cheaper than Cineplex, i.e. about $1. Other than that this Landmark Theater/cinema environment is so nice, which you find that this place is not crowded at peak hours, there are some tables and chairs to eat or waiting and there are also a place for kids to play. Landmark Theater/cinema's washrooms also big and clean. If you want to save some money watching movie with your kids, I recommend you to go on Saturday morning before 10.30am. Their ticket price is $7.99 (regular) for adult and children on Saturday morning before 10.30am. Good deal huh! I will definitely recommend this cinema to my friends and peoples because this cinema/theater is the best place to watch movie and the location is so strategic to everything after movie time.

Bad Axe Throwing Surrey is offering various exciting games as well as a team and individual tournaments for an unforgettable experience. We serve the Greater Vancouver area, Richmond and Surrey. Axe throwing is something new and a little bit different. Everyone's done bowling, maybe you’ve done some pretty awesome laser tag, but axe throwing takes the cake, and it’s also something everyone can do. If you can lift up an axe, we can teach you how to throw it. It’s simple, fun and addictive.
I saw a video online and thought I'd try axe throwing. Wasn't expecting much; you just throw things. How exciting can that be? The setup is pretty bare bones too. No reception, cashier (Square cc payment only), lineup system, or signs/directions how to get started. You walk in and it's just a table then the throwing lanes. It's not the typical entertainment & recreational establishment I was used to (bowling, gokart, etc). We (group of 4) thought the activity would've been a dud. We were so wrong! Axe throwing is raw; you just throw things. The whole setup added to that raw feeling. Wood everywhere, marked up furniture, basic, clean, simple. If it were a nicer facility, we wouldn't have felt as comfortable throwing axes and damaging the target. Axe throwing was also a surprisingly fun way to de-stress and compete with friends at the same time. It's fast too. Throw, retrieve, repeat every 10 seconds. You definitely get your moneys worth compared to slower less energized target sports like darts, bowling, or billards. Special shoutout to our host, AJ, who was super friendly and helpful. He was the only employee working and had to run games for a bday party but still took time to teach us how to throw, check in on us, teach us some games. AJ turned a fun evening into a great memory. Best things is, you can bring your own food and alcohol. Be sure to bring beer when you go.

Exit is Surrey's first real-life escape room and has brought the online escape game to real life where participants are locked within a themed room and are given puzzles and riddles to complete their escape before the clock runs out at 45 minutes. A minimum of 2 players are required, but up to a maximum of 7 players.
This surrey location has great staff. The escape rooms are always fun and a good time. Highly recommend it.

We had to visit Bear Creek - on 2 previous trips ( over 20 years ago) it was a very regular spot for family time and we have very fond memories of the train and the play area. Returning as Adults ( well Im not sure about Mr G but he is a pensioner) we found these still there, as nice as we remembered, but a host of other delights we had paid less attention to before. I was completely blown away by the flower planting - it is as good as many gardens I have paid to visit in Europe. The Art Gallery is new but we didnt get to see it as it was a Monday and it was closed. It was lovely to see the athletic area being used for a school sports event. Nice clean loos as well. Just - excellent !

Once or twice a month 4 to 8 of us will meet at the casino, and play the slots. My wife and I have a limit of 20 bucks each. We socialize and mingle, but then head to the races upstairs just before post time. Again we keep our bets low, And quite often break even. We get a cheap, but tasty burger from the casino, and bring it up to the track. All total, we will spend about 5 hours there, and maybe an hour at the flea market before then during the summer. It is an excellent fun time with friends from all over the lower mainland that otherwise we do not visit with enough, but traffic is light on Sundays, and that is when we meet. It is so much better for us anyway, to be able to move around this large complex,ma's opposed to just sitting the whole time. Beautiful horses too, and worth a visit or two to the race course outside, so as to hear the thunder of the smilies coming down the stretch. One last thing of note; the staff everywhere, casino and at Silks are super friendly, and courteous.

We have gone on many occassions and enjoyed the harness racing with a wonderful buffet and the casino just down the stairs. Racing season is awesome! We do drop by after curling on Friday evenings and wander about playing the slots and having a quick lunch. Go and catch the races!
