Approximately 30 miles (50 kilometers) from Manhattan, Stamford is in the Bridgeport-Stamford-Norwalk Metro area which is a part of the Greater New York metropolitan area.

Been there many times and it is always a real pleasure. They show first run and older films you saw long ago. The accommodations are comfortable and the view and sound is great. Many thanks to the Royces's , without whom the AVON would not exist. It is a true treasure of downtown Stamford.

We went as birthday event for my husband. A friend suggested it and it was the right choice! It was a great way to spend an hour together with friends and leverage each others strengths to use the clues and escape . It was challenging and so much fun. It would be a great activity if you have friends in town, need a corporate team building activity, or a little digital detox! People that learned we went said they've always wanted to do it. My recommendation is to go! #noclue

I am a native of Stamford and i have been going to this theater since it and it sister theater, The Landmark Theater were built in the 1980's . The theater is conveniently located in downtown Stamford on lower Summer Street near a number of internationally themed restaurants and a Marriott Courtyard located on the corner of Summer and Broad Street. The theater itself is clean, well managed, has sufficient security, and is laid out to show a variety of first run films. There is a fully equipped snack bar that can handle long lines and the theater also offers senior rates and will accept AAA movie vouchers. The only problem is not the theater itself, but parking. There is a parking garage located nearby,but parking is becoming a problem in downtown Stamford. This is my favorite theater within the local Bow Tie Chain of thetaers and I don't hesitate to keep going back.
