This park is a couple of blocks from the city centre (keep in mind the blocks aren’t very large). It’s maybe a 600m walk. It’s great to visit on the way to the Rovaniemi Church. The park has a variety of swings and a great hill to do tobogganing . It’s also a great place to build your snowman. Young kids are just happy to play in the snow, so if you are looking for something free to do, this is a must see.

Snowman World, in Santa Claus Village, Arctic Circle, features spectacular Ice World with Ice Restaurant, Ice Bar and Snow Fun activities for the whole family. Snowman World opens again on December 2021! Welcome!
Had dinner with the family - from ages of 6 to 67... and what an awesome site. The entrance is Magic with ice and snow sculptures and an ice bar serving drinks. The dinner itself was surprisingly good although you must dress warm and the food turns cold quickly if you eat slowly. It’s quite expensive but well worth it because it is such a unique and enjoyable experience. One of the highlights during our four day stay.
