I went to the Texas Ski Ranch to wake board for the first time and did not leave disappointed! I used the "Lil Bro" cable line to get started and learn the basics. The staff was very informative, instructed me on how to succeed, and cheered me on once I was up and riding. I will definitely be returning for more fun.

We decided to take our grandkids here on a Saturday- great decision. So for $25 per kid the kids can use all of the many attractions (they have less expensive packages but there are limits on what they can use. There is an amazing zip line that they loved - they must have gone on it at least 20 times. There is a Cope course that is really cool. There’s a ‘battle bot’ plank where the kids go at it. A kids version of American Ninja Warrior except when you fall off you land into a 3’ deep pit of ‘bubble balls'. There are at least another 8-10 things for them to do. We finally had to ‘drag’ our grandkids out of the place after 4 hours. They had a complete blast. Parents are free if just watching kids or you can pay and use some of the activities (a limited selection). We will definitely be bringing our grandkids back here!

McQueeney Gun Club

Don't know why McQueeny Gun Club isn't rated much higher on trip advisor. I been a member there now for a couple of years and would give them 5 stars . Megan and staff are always friendly and very helpful. Prices are comparable with other ranges and gun stores. They sell quality firearms and gear...not the bargain basement stuff. They recently helped me purchase a rifle scope for my new Daniel Defense Delta 5 Pro rifle, so I can get into some precision rifle shooting. I went a little over my budget but got more scope for the dollar. The range officers are very helpful and safety oriented. If you are not arrogant or unsafe and comply with their range safety rules, you wont have any problems, No steel tipped ammo. Anyway, their instructors are very good. I encourage you to give them a try. I still consider myself a novice gunowner, so I appreciate all the help they have given me personally. Would definitely recommend a monthly member if you plan on shooting there a few times a week.
