I am Raya Brown – a professional Artist and Tutor with more than 25 years experience. I provide Art and Craft classes and courses for adults and children at the Magic Wool Art and Craft Studio in Worcestershire. I teach specialist Art courses designed to assist art and Craft lovers and Art enthusiasts. I also have a passion for unique therapeutic Art of wool painting and felt making which I share with my students at my courses. Everyone is welcome to my comfortable and inspirational studio.
I have greatly enjoyed attending four of Raya's courses through remote Zoom sessions and in-situ lessons: Fundamental Art Skills; Birds and Natural Form; Fun with Watercolour and Introduction to Portrait. I feel my art skill level and confidence has grown under Raya's expert tutelage; I have produced work that I would not have imagined I would have been capable of before I joined Raya's classes. Raya is an experienced artist and art teacher; she has an intuitive ability to see exactly what needs to be done to improve; she delivers expert practical demonstrations and gives helpful and invaluable advice in a gentle and encouraging manner. She consistently exudes positivity, enthusiasm and encouragement for all of her students. I look forward to joining future courses with Raya.

I have taken my 2 boys here twice before and found it to be clean, tidy and friendly with good food facilities. Yesterday I attended a private party here. They change their opening hours if a private party is booked which I think is really helpful as it means you can have a party at a reasonable time such as 4pm (instead of other soft play parties I have been to that have only offered slots at 6.30pm or 9.30am on a Sunday) It does mean, of course, that you should always check their Facebook page before you go in case its closed! My 2 year old gets really scared around balloons and the mum hosting the party had tied a few up in the party room, which of course I was expecting, but unfortunately he refused to eat up there. One of the ladies working there was really kind, she had already spotted that he was upset about something and checked with me if I needed help. She offered to take his food downstairs and sympathized with the situation in a completely non-judgmental way, which I really appreciated. Thank you.
