The Spoonman’s Shop is a local artists gallery in the heart of Victoria. Our work consist in woodwork, paintings, ceramics and small handmade souvenirs. I am fascinated by the neolithic pottery so you will find some nice replicas here. I design wooden spoons with stories, wooden bowls, crosses and small decoration. Having my chisels in our shop I will be happy to present my craft.
This beautiful shop had amazing hand made jewellery and crafts. We bought a lovely hand painted magnet. It was unique and different from the usual souvenir shop choices. The owner was super friendly. You should visit this place if you have planned a trip to Gozo.

Visiting this Basilica you will see the beautiful paintings on the ceiling and the magnificent gilded things it has got. What about the beautiful statue of the Patron Saint of St. George. If you want to celebrate a nice feast with the well welcoming people of this parish church you have to come on the second week of July to enjoy this feast. A whole week of festivities , marches around the streets of Victoria the Capital City and enjoying the fireworks.

Standing upon the high medieval northern walls of the Citadella, the view is 360 degrees of magnificence. Outside the walls, a large stretch of rocky terrain, decorated with grand churches and cathedrals acting sentinel as the crystal sea lies dormant in the back ground. Within the walls, you can see the history unravel and feel at one with the many battles and hardships the Citadella has both withstood and crumbled to. A must see to anyone who desires to expand their historical knowledge and engage with fantastic views!

It is an audio-visual,fine arts and historical museum that tells a story. It is unique in the Maltese islands in that its construction, including a medieval wing, was conceived and designed as a modern multi-mediatic museum that includes audio-visual halls and interactive points on every floor. Basically this museum and cultural centre, displays a rich collection of historical and artistic artifacts.

Highly recommended interior space to explore in the Citadel which has the rare benefit of being free. It should the impressive silos used to store water and grain to help villagers fed during attacks. There are also WWII shelters in there. You'll learn if you visit Valletta that Malta played a key role in the resistance against the Axis forces in WWII.
