After spending weeks attempting to write my university dissertation with no luck, I decided to head down to the Guildhall gallery for some inspiration. I was given a lovely warm welcome and able to purchase coffee and cake, as well as a light lunch, to keep me motivated. Between bouts of writing and brainstorming, I was able to browse the lovely selection of art and crafts available to purchase. I will definitely be back to admire the talented artists’ work and enjoy the atmosphere once the dissertation has been completed to fully appreciate what a beautiful gallery/cafe this is.

Just a short walk from home this is a fantastic location for leisure visits for all the family. Lots of trails for all and just fantastic views, the choice of entry routes is endless, we often walk along the canal and then into seven springs before heading to Marquis Drive or Birches Valley, just the tip of what this area has to offer

Whilst there is plenty of exhibits for visitors to admire in this free museum as a carpenter/joiner and latterly building surveyor I was fascinated at the construction of this hewn English oak timber framed building.

Beautiful church with much of interest. I had a look round and was on my way out when a gentleman asked if I had seen the green men. He took me round and showed them all to me. Also had a nice chat to the warden. Second time I had come across wonderful Staffs hospitality and the warmth of the people. A very special church.

Had many a bad meal here years ago and came for lunch with my family and to my surprise it was spot on. Had the gourmet chicken burger, came really well presented, piping hot, plenty of chips and crispy onions rings. Well done butlers bell, youve won me back. Will definitely be returning. Especially when i got all of the above and a pint for £6 something
