Located in the south of China, the cityscape--Shenzhen-- is home to some of the most modern buildings worldwide. Although this area is largely industrial, it offers many tourist attractions, such as the Chinese folk Culture Village, Safari Park, and beach resorts. Perhaps one of the most frequented tourist attractions is Window of the World, which offers replicas of the Eiffel tower, the pyramids, and Taj Mahal.

Known among locals as Shenzhen’s “Central Park” this gorgeous green space provides both respite from the noise of the city and a picture-perfect view of Shenzhen’s skyscrapers in the distance. Don't leave without buying a bag of lychees, which grow on the park’s trees.

Hiking Wutong Mountain is one of Shenzhen citizens’ most popular activities (and offers trails for all experience levels). It’s a great way to get exercise and breathtaking vistas. On a clear day you can see Hong Kong.
The climb/walk is not easy... Many steps... parts are unpaved and slippery... That being said- the views are incredible... You can see clear across the city to Nanshan... Bring sunscreen, water... there are places along the route for drinks and snacks

A very lovely park in the center of the city. Lots of nice paths throughout this large park. Nice place for a relaxing walk, jogging, cycling, working out on the exercise equipment and much more, any time of the year. Well maintained.

We went for an enjoyable walk and hike in Shenzhen Lianhuashan Park. It was a spring-like sunny day. The spring flowers will soon be out. Every invigorating environment.

This is a beautiful park along Shenzhen Bay stretching from Shekou Port to Futian ( 13 kilometres of well maintained green areas.) Some areas are not open for biking during the weekends. There are small beaches for kids to wade and go fishing. There is a fantastic view of Hong Kong across the bay. This is a not to be missed area if you love strolling along the water. If you go early in the morning or evening you can see older folks dancing, practicing martial arts or calligraphy.

There is a paved walkway up the mountain. Some areas have stairs. It is free entrance and a great place to get into nature. Lots of people visit on the weekends. It is very close to the Sea World metro stop. Exit D and walk towards Fraser Hotel. Keep walking past Fraser and you will see the entrance to the park on your left.

This was easily my favourite place in Shenzen. Beautiful space, nice cafes and gift/art shops. Highly recommended.
