Sant Joan de Labritja (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈsaɲ ʒuˈan də ɫəˈβɾidʒə], Spanish: San Juan Bautista) is a village and municipality of the Balearic Islands on northern Ibiza. Among others, the resorts of Portinatx and Cala de Sant Vicent are located there. The actual village of Sant Joan is a quiet street, dominated by an imposing Christian church, and is the meeting point of Sant Joan de Labritja Municipal Council. One may find several small cafés and restaurants (including the locally well-known Vista Alegre, as well as a taxi rank, outside the Municipal Council building and the local office of the Guardia Civil, the Spanish Civil Guard. Towards the west of the village is the origin of the Torrent de Labritja, a tributary of the Riu de Santa Eulária, the Balearic Island's only constant-flowing river, although the Torrent only contains water during the winter months; throughout the tourist season, the stream is a dry river bed full of green vegetation.

What a lovely scenic spot. The beach is cleaned every morning very early and is is kept immaculate. The water is crystal clear and is great for snorkeling with shoals of fish. Really beautiful.

Beautiful beach very clean and would be perfect for families with young children you could walk way out before any depth to the water The only downside I would say is the price of the sunbeds and parasols 7 euros each so we paid 21 euros for the two of us If you have a few children this could be expensive The beach is off the main road through the town so lots of shops and cafes nearby

Just got back from Portinatx having a had a great holiday even though it was very quiet due to the pandemic. When we arrived, we were concerned as due to the pandemic, very little was open in the way of places to eat. But Beverley the owner of Del Boys came to the rescue. Beverly was great and we ended up having breakfast there most mornings. Our son is a little fussy with his eating, but Beverly made sure she had a good supply of English Bacon and his favourite Pizzas. All the meals were freshly cooked and if what you wanted differed from the menu it was never too much trouble for them to accommodate our requirements. Other reviews for Portinatx state its expensive but I have to say Del Boys provides great value for money and provided us with the best meals of our holiday. They even recommended another restaurant if we fancied a change just displaying how caring and friendly, they are. On our last day when they heard what time we were being picked up Beverly started earlier so as to make sure we had a meal before we travelled home. Me and the family can not recommend Del Boys enough. If you want freshly cooked good value for money meals, a bar with a good selection of beers and spirits with a warm and friendly welcome visit Del Boys, trust me you will not be disappointed.

An Off-Licence with a difference! Buy your drinks, ask for a glass and sit on our terrace to enjoy them at our prices rather than bar prices. Or take them away to enjoy on the beach, in your room or back in the UK.

Beautiful, traditional beach, great snorkelling once you swim past the sea grass, take beach shoes and swim out to the rocks where you can climb up and jump in (go careful), if you get there early you can park by the beach, we arrived about 0930 and parked no probs, once spaces filled you will need to park on the main road and walk down the hill. Well worth a visit.
