An historical site and park containing an ancient ceremonial mound from the area's sizeable Native American settlement.
There is a lot going on here. Beautiful views during the day or sunset overlooking the Upper Tampa Bay. Numerous picnic shelters and tables, restroom areas, parking, walking trails, boat ramp, children's play areas, spectacular old growth oak trees and other varieties. The park area itself is kept very clean. At the far end is an Original Native American Mound from centuries ago. A great park to spend an hour or the day.

A family owned micro brewery in the heart of Safety Harbor, FL. We offer a wide variety of in house brewed craft beers as well as some guest beers and wine. Guests are welcome to bring food in or have it delivered if they desire.
Nice chill nautically themed brewery. Big space with a big bar to settle up to with some other bar games. Patio to enjoy as well. Large screen with variety of home beers and others. Summer peach was yummy.

I love Crooked Thumb! What a great atmosphere. I love the picnic tables and open concept for the brewery. It’s comfortable and one of my favorite spots to go to enjoy a socially distanced beverage with my family. Their beer is amazing. I especially love the Harbor Lager! They often have food trucks or a hot dog cart for tasty bites. It’s easy to spend hours with friends here.

I happened to meet the owners of the whimzey house, Todd and Kiaralinda, before going to the house. They are lovely, creative artists who have such a generous spirit. Their house definitely reflects this! It’s free to walk around their yard and enjoy all the little details and effort they’ve put into making it such a cool, colorful spot! Highly recommend!

If you are staying in Safety Harbor this magnificent historic tree are a must see!! But this is not a destination attraction in and of itself (unless you are a true dendrophile) if you are visiting the greater Tampa Bay area. That said if you want to visit Safety Harbor for a few hours perhaps visit the Spa, stroll Main Street for some quaint shops and have some good food and drink at a local establishment then by all means definitely take 10 minutes to swing by this little park and see the grand old Quercus.
