We really enjoyed our visit to this hunting lodge. Parking is a bit complicated; you need to park in one of the official lots off site and then pay to ride the tram to the lodge. We enjoyed visiting the castle, but the climb to the top of the tower yielded magnificent views and was worth every step!. The grounds were lovely, they have a nice cafe and a great outdoor space to sit and relax.

spectacular and unexpected in this beautiful landscape: okay, we knew what to expect here, embedded in this beautiful landscape and it strikes you. The dimensions are, if you stand in front of it, unbelievable big. The block is over 5km long. There is not much left of the gigantic central building, there the central passage to the Baltic Sea goes. There are not many buildings left in a bad condition, most of it is luxuriously renovated, but the cafes, restaurants, stores and hotels are in the normal price segment. The last buildings in front of the central building are under reconstruction now. This is the view from outside. But the visitor center makes the trip round, which makes clear in all drama what it is all about, even if the KdF building was not finished during the Third Reich. In the exhibition - which offered a very interesting special exhibition about jurisdiction and the constitution - the whole of the Third Reich is emphasized too much. Much is important for understanding what was going on here, but not everything is appropriate, but that is for the curator to decide. We think the KdF buildings are a must on Rügen. You can walk over there from Binz. The café in the exhibition is a gift, down by the buildings are very
