I still haven't made it to the store but online shopping from an island nearby has been great! Nabeeh is always there for questions and makes sure that you know when the items are on their way. So far, I've been impressed with the quality of the products, the cushion covers look amazing and I love the story behind the items and the fact that local artists can get their work promoted. Thanks again Nabeeh and team for all your help and kindness and one day soon I hope to visit you in the shop!

Located across the road from the fishing boats, the fish market is full of fish of all sizes and various colors. Along the right hand side, fish is filleted expertly as you watch. It's a small market so plan about 15 minutes here.

The largest mosque in male and built with donations from many Islamic countries. The surrounding area is also very clean and neat and you may spend some time here. It is allowed to enter the premises for everyone including ladies if you are not wearing revealing clothes. This is my first experience inside a mosque as it is not allowed to enter them in most of other countries. Good place to blend in with local culture and get to know a thing or two about them.

The staff (unfortunately do not know their names) were very helpful but also gave you space to browse the products without a hard sell. We were able to get lovely souvenirs for the family from this shop

Went there for Jummah prayers. Jummah prayer is conducted in Maldivian local language. It was well within walking distance from our hotel. Love the dome of the masjid.

This was a beautiful memorial in the town square, very peaceful and well maintained. The marble work is well made and the memorial I found to be nice.

Very well maintained park in the middle of hulhumale island. It’s a different experience after having spent all your time in Maldives at beaches and ocean. The water fountain is a major highlight of the park.
