Probably the most in-depth selection of semi precious jewellery on the Costa Del Sol. Over 120 natural crystals in stock as well as an array of wands, pendulums, points, figures etc., await you in the tranquil setting of Mijas Magic in Constitucion Square, Mijas Pueblo. Complemented by local artesan artwork including oils, prints, sculptures, ceramics and more. We also stock typically Spanish jewellery including Filigrana silver, maintaining a tradition more than 200 years old. Our watchwords are 'interesting, different, value, and quality'. This is what we strive for in everything we present to you. Ask us about the names of the different stones, minerals and crystals and their properties and for most of these we can give you an information card describing their key properties. All our products come gift wrapped, usually with an information card about their origins. We are in the old square, on the balcony at the bottom of the bullring slope. Just look for the Mijas Magic sign!We are open from 10am every day of the week, no siesta and close when the last shoppers have left!, but until at least 9pm in the Summer and 6pm in the Winter.Don't forget that you can park all day in the municipal multi storey car park for just 1 EUR
The streets are amazing and easy to walk around the town. Flower everywhere abs very clean and tidy. There is a magical feel to the town. Recommended

Old fashioned styled Toy store full of colour, fun and real toys. Take a trip down memory lane and remember the old style toys and games of your childhood . Find gifts that deliver as much joy in giving as they do in receiving. Recuerdame also sells Chalk paint for the ever popular "shabby Chic" look.

In the older part of Mijas, above the square Wishes by Anita is fantastic for hand crafted cards, bespoke and individual, Anita also has original local artwork and since my last visit now has helium balloons, FANTASTIC.......

FOTOART was established in July 2008 in "MIJAS" as a permanent showcase for native photographer J. Jaime Mota. The purpose of this gallery is to bring the art of photography to the general public. With editions in different sizes and prices these work are created to be affordable for all budgets, while never compromising quality. A new way to decorate your home or to get a new piece of art.
When in south of Spain this little art gallery is a must visit ... The photos are outstanding of Life in Africa with lots of beautiful animals and humans .. The option to buy your favourite images are from magnets to large wall art. I personally love this shop and my house is full of their photos

This is a great hike but be forewarned, it is a fairly rough trail. I hiked from Mijas Ermita del Calvario using the red trail Cruz de la Mision then to the orange trail Rita Pico Mijas. It is a long slog 8 hours return and as I said the trail can be quite rough, that is, lots of rocks. But having said that the views are worth it!! The trails are well marked for the most part. Make sure you pick up a trail map mappa de sanderos in the Mijas Tourism Office. They are very helpful and knowledgeable!!!

I don't normally visit chapels/churches but couldn't resist a peep inside this little chapel whilst visiting Mijas last time. Steeped in history & dug out of the rock by monks centuries ago, make this chapel a little bit special. Inside, there is an altar & a few benches for worshippers, tho' it isn't that private with sightseers taking photos. Very cool in the very hot weather!!! We like to visit the Pueblo for the day, to have a mooch around the shops, enjoy coffee in one place, then have lunch with a bottle of wine in another restaurant. There are so many to choose from, it's hard to decide!. Last time we visited, we bought a stunning piece of Lladro in Tamisa, & Benjamin remembered us from a previous visit where we purchased a female Spanish dancer, so this visit, purchased another piece, a couple of Spanish dancers in a pose & the definition of their bodies is just stunning. They both look absolutely gorgeous in a cabinet in our apartment in Spain. He gave us a good discount too! Loli in their other shop La Great in the square was very helpful also. Nice people to do business with. Always worth a visit when visiting Mijas Pueblo. Parking is never a problem.... Multistorey of 10 levels costing....... 1euro... yes! that is correct.. 1 euro for the whole day!!!!
