We're a nonprofit providing vocational training and jobs for rural women in Vietnam. Viet Artisans school is based in Vinh Long. There are different things that you can do here when visiting such as seeing how we make our products, learning how to make those with the artisans, and learning more about the traditional values of Vietnamese culture. You can also spend a night on the island at the homestay and really get a feel of life in the Mekong Delta.

The market is vibrant and stretches for many kilometres. All kinds of fresh and live fish, eels, prawns, vegetables, exotic fruits. Many varieties of rice. Hundreds of people doing there daily shopping, you have to dodge all the mopeds. Extremely interesting and provides a great outlook into the local economy

Very interesting - husks are separated from rice. Ground the rice and made rice flour, added water and made pancake like batter. Very thin crepes were made on skillet and dried for 2-3 hours and then cut into noodles.
