Kythira (/kɪˈθiːrə/, /ˈkɪθɪrə/; Greek: Κύθηρα [ˈciθiɾa], also transliterated as Cythera, Kythera and Kithira) is an island in Greece lying opposite the south-eastern tip of the Peloponnese peninsula. It is traditionally listed as one of the seven main Ionian Islands, although it is distant from the main group. Administratively, it belongs to the Islands regional unit, which is part of the Attica region (although at large distance from Attica itself).

Amazing place to visit. Caves are spectacular as well as the views nearby. There is also a small beautiful Church and café nearby where you can rest.

Excellent beach for relaxation and swimming. Perfect for children since it has rocks on the right edge from where they can dive!Crystal clear water and a canteen for the essential refreshments and coffee! Highly recommended

Very peaceful, green and lots of wild flowers. There is now a signposted round walk taking about 1 1/2 hours. Great lunch at the small cafe just down from the car park
