If you don't know where to start, leave your car at 37.5702806, 24.3163551. Route number 6 it's a easiest one. It will take you to main beach. Perfect place for snorkeling. 3m from shore you can enjoy wildlife, unlike popular beaches where is only sand. If you climb to the ruins with columns, there is path down to even more remote beach. Ruins are nice, yes but don't forget your swimming suits and beach towels.

At the fertile area of Mylopotamos in Kea island, our family cultivates and produces local handmade products , using traditional recipes and taste.
The shop has a lot of different products, from cheese to carpets, from soaps to cookies, jams, wines ... all made by island's local products. Best quality on the island. The owners are always pleased to help you in every matter. The shop is charming, it deserves a visit.

The path until there is wonderful, you get a little lost on those tiny Greek streets, you spotted a donkey and the landscape is breathtaking. It is a trip worth it and easy to make, even if you have kids. Just don't forget the sun cream because you will need it.

We spent a good half a day at this beach recently. It's a lovely place, very clean and well maintained and the beach bar is very tasteful. The bar area is actually huge with lots and lots of seating, nice decking and relaxing seats and the piped music was pretty pleasant and relaxing. Not overbearing. Sand was pretty soft. Not much to see snorkelling, as the beach is very wide and open, even among the slightly rocky areas to the side, there wasn't much going on worth seeing. Beach Loungers - we paid €14 for two. This was late September and we arrived after lunch. Loungers on the right hand side all had a call button for waitress service. Nice touch. Not my favourite beach on the island though, we preferred Gialiskari Beach as it felt more enclosed either side, with even softer sand and smaller bar area. Also backed by nice shade of trees to park the car under. All in all, Koundouraki is a lovely beach. Well worth a visit, but do also try the other beaches too.

A great beach just a few minutes away from the port of Korissia, easily accessible by public transport. It is tucked away in a small bay so it is always protected from the strong winds in July and August. There are several beach bars that offer umbrellas and chairs as well as snacks and beverages for a reasonable price. Clean and sandy, Otzias is perfect for families, couples and singles.
