was looking for a certain style of silver necklace and wandered into a couple of shops where the prices were high and the pressure unbearable. I had read good reviews of 3 places in old town and this was one of them. They did not disappoint! Friendly, low-pressure service and I found the piece I desired and my boyfriend found a linen shirt

Unique, custom made bathing suits, choose your fabric and style! We have ready-made or treat yourself to a custom made suit, bring your style and choose your fabric, we will make it for you in a couple of days.
My girlfriend has had 12 custom made bikinis from this shop, they fit very well and stay put in the waves. As Soon as you walk through the door you feel welcome, the staff is friendly, knowledgable and professional. It’s not only bikinis that they make, they will make any style of bathing suit for any body type , all you have to do is supply the attitude LOL. The service is awesome, If you are not happy they want to know about it and they will make it right. We have tried other bikini shops in playa Del Carmen, but this place is on another level of quality and professionalism. If you are anywhere near the island it is worth the trip.We have made multiple trips to this shop and look forward to many more. Thanks, we love your shop.

This chapel was so beautiful and right behind it there was an amazing view of the ocean and surrounding cliffs. We were even able to see a bunch of lizards. Really cool spot and felt very private and not crowded.

Tiny Gecko is a lovely neighborhood spot where you can have a great margarita, delicious tacos, and enjoy live music all at the same time. I enjoyed the meal and the performance provided the icing on the cake. Such a wonderful experience near the the ocean. Great way to spend an evening!!!

Open since 2010 by Alejandro Cabrera, better known in the Island as “Mr.Opal”, operated by his daugther Cristina and her husband Dante. Cristina inhereted and works the opal mine located in Queretaro, family owned sice 1955, while Dante is an internationally recognized jade carver, jeweler and designer. Custom Designed Jewelry, Natural Gem Stones, Amber, Rocks & Minerals.
This place is a must go! So cool! The most exciting jewelry store experience I’ve had in forever. The owners mine their own opals and gems and they educated us about the stones and jewels we were looking at. Cristina and Dante, the owners, were incredibly kind and gracious with us and our time. I was looking for a very specific gem and Cristina looked through their well organized stock of loose gems and made available the exact item I was looking for. I was with my partner and my brother and sister in-law and we all purchased items because we loved the artistry that was put into the jewelry. THIS IS NOT A MASS PRODUCTION TOURIST SHOP. Everything is customizable and designed in store. I had a very excellent Opal set into a rare necklace that had lost its stone. The work was done before I could believe. I am so grateful! We love you guys!

A lovely island with the most beautiful beach!! We booked a day trip to Isla Mujeres with Scuba Caribe and it was very enjoyable, once on the boat over we hired a golf cart for 4 hours through S.C for $60 US dollars which is around $1200pesos we found out once on the island their a bit cheaper, so you could shop around as their are a number of companies hiring the said carts. It’s a real fun day on the carts and takes about two to three hours to get around the island if stopping off at the different sites. One cool spot was feeding the turtles in a marina then we drove to the southern most point of the island to see the light house and giant Iguana statue...a lovely spot!! On our return finishing up at Norte Beach a beautiful beach beyond compare!! We eat at the Mayan Beach Club restaurant which is one of the first restaurants at the northern end of the beach, the food was fine and if you choose to eat there you’re allowed to use their beach sun beds free, which we did!! So we recommend you definitely do a day trip to Isla Mujeres and it’s gorgeous Norte Beach!!

I didn’t have an opportunity to attend mass however, I was able to see the inside of the church as I was traveling through the town square. I was extremely impressed with the way the Stations of the Cross are depicted along the walls of the church. I must admit that the artist decision to show the Station of the Cross this way is quite thought provoking. I not only appreciated the craftsmanship but the powerful message that is told through this artistic expression. Amazing!!!
