St Mary of the Angels Basilica on Yarra Street is an impressive major landmark in the city. The stone building is hard to miss due to it being the tallest in the city. The interior is equally impressive.

A great place for a family day at the beach. Spacious lawn area ideal for a picnic, great facilities for the kids from the youngest to adults. Children's pool for the little ones, makes a safe environment for families. Cafe with take away food on site. Established in 1938 but upgraded only a few years back, it has always been popular with locals and visitors alike.

We went there in the afternoon but the weather was not kind to us. However, me and the kids enjoyed our time there. The view is great, there are many cafes and restaurants around the gardens. There is also bollards which can come alive if you install their apps.

Welcome to the Amazing Mill Markets, where we sell amazing things. The Amazing Mill Markets are located in three locations - Ballarat, Geelong and Daylesford. Because the Amazing Mill Markets lease space to hundreds of different stallholders, each location has a diverse range of wares and new stallholders are always welcome. There is invariably something for everyone who visits with vintage clothes, vintage furniture, memorabilia, art, glass, jewellery, books, antiques and collectables to name a few.
I could spend a week in this market and still only see half of it, what a wonderful step back in time

Wow! The food was amazing(especially the lamb pizza!), great craft beer be sure to try the Rasberry beer!!) and the service was exceptional! The staff happily chatted with our 2.5 year old about his colouring in and chips, really made us feel welcome, which was great as we were unsure about taking a 2.5 year old to a brewery. Upon leaving, one of the staff (Amanda I think it was) asked me for my phone so she could take some photos of the 3 of us 'making memories ' which was nice instead of one of us hiding behind the camera! Great atmosphere and even a little sand pit for the kids! Would definitely recommend coming here and we will return for sure!!

Amazing aboriginal cultural experience by Anthony and the cafe owner who made traditional delicious lemon myrtle scones for our morning tea- fantastic experience to take our overseas guests. They learnt about tools, culture, land, stories, listened to the didgeridoo, learnt how to throw a boomerang and met and fed native animals - emus, kangaroo and wallabies. Super interactive, very accommodating and so friendly. Loved it and nightly recommendation it to everyone.
