Our first visit to the pub since lock down had a fantastic curry and chilli and felt very COVID-19 safe.

A family run artisan chocolate and gift shop with something for everyone. Gluten free, dairy free, vegan and diabetic chocolate available as well as lots of delicious truffles, pralines and bars all made from Belgian chocolate.
Visited No. 12 on our way home from a visit to Lincolnshire after reading about their G&T chocolates on social media, made with local gin. What a fabulous shop and Paul, the owner was really helpful and friendly. Beautiful range of hand made chocolates, fudge and chocolate bars as well and lots of lovely gifts, cards and art. Also very cheap for such quality. Well worth a special visit if you are anywhere near here. First class.

Excellent food and friendly, efficient service. The Sunday lunch, from their carvery, is second to none, with a choice of four meats, and you can have some of each if you wish. Huge range of vegetables and superb Yorkshire puddings. I returned on Monday for a Steak and Ale pie, which was the best, and largest, I have had in many years, with excellent chunky chips and mushy peas. Great value for money. Their menu is as extensive as any I have seen, and not too expensive. The pub boasts a good choice of beers, ales and wine at sensible prices. It offers free wifi and there is a large beer garden. The pub is accessed without stairs or steps and has a large car park.

My friend and I travelled to this garden centre on a very dismal day last week and after looking round decided to have lunch there. We had not booked but had timed it very well as a table had just become vacant. My friend decided to go for a full roast chicken dinner and I had a prawn jacket potato. The dining area was full and the staff were very busy but friendly and attentive. The meals arrived looking very appetising, hot and tasty. We both enjoyed the food but could not manage a dessert as we were full. The garden centre is fully stocked with all the usual gifts, houseplants etc with a large display of Christmas decorations etc... plenty to browse round and a huge selection of plants, shrubs and trees to choose from. Definitely will be revisiting..when we can..highly recommend a trip!

A modernised (extremely clean) rectangular retail shopping area that is easy to transit either strolling or with mobility assistance, prams etc facilitating economic easy parking and two spaces for charging electric cars. The various retail shopping outlets are of a high standard including a large Wilko, Halfords, Gap, Laura Ashley, Poundland, Clinton Cards etc, also some well known high street opticians and other specialist retail shops selling branded clothing, beauty products and jewellery etc, a fitness centre with swimming pool. Diners can be sure of quality and cleanliness at cafes with outside seating including a very popular Prezzo Restaurant with dancing water fountains and large information screen. PublicToilets are provided near the florist shop on the driver side of the incoming vehicle access road. Nearby is Tesco and Lidl each also providing time limiting parking. The rest of Gainsborough town is worth a visit if only to view what negligence of services can achieve by turning a once proud Lincolnshire engineering town which was once the capital of England (yes it was) into the utter disgrace and shanty that even the German bombing failed to do.

What a fantastic place staff super helpful and friendly ordered a set of garden furniture at 1pm delivered at 6.30pm the same day! Can’t praise this place enough if you want good service you can’t beat the independent places. Well done for making a difference in these times, support this business you won’t be disappointed!
