Birthplace of Boeing airplanes, Everett is a lively coastal city just north of Seattle. Its waterfront, once a highly industrialized area home to a naval base and large paper mill, has recently undergone a transformative redevelopment as a locale for seaside shopping, dining and festivities. The city's numerous parks, boasting free live concerts every summer, are excellent for hiking or relaxing, while the coast is a popular spot for sailing, water sports and whale watching excursions.

Wonderful art gallery and studio! They have a couple of featured artists and then a large section dedicated to young artists (grades 8-12) that was so amazing! Nice gift shop too.

Nice park tucked back into a neighborhood. Walking bridge takes you over the train tracks to a great stretch of beach. Perfect for a long walk! Great view! The best thing (for us =) is that the north side of the beach is a dog park.

Wiggle your toes in the warm sand, play in the water and explore the nature trails of Everett's two-mile scenic gem. From July into September, the City of Everett runs a free ferry to this sandy beach. Jetty Island Days is a cooperative program between the Port of Everett and Everett Parks & Community Services.
This is a beautiful place to go for a day. You can catch crabs, feed the birds, and enjoy the ocean.

This park is above the railroad yard but the noise is not noticed as the views are stunning. There are places to sit and a tribute to Scoop Jackson who lived across the street. The houses across the street are as stunning as the view. There is no public restrooms but the architecture of the homes are wonderful. They recently completed an iconic walkway that goes over the state highway and puts you down by Lombardi’s Italian Restaurant.

There is a paved section of the trail, a gravel section, and a dirt section. You can travel a mile or up to 3 miles depending on which route you choose. It's quiet, you'll see and hear wildlife as well as see close up the terrain you drive by on I-5. Walk of bike.

We enjoyed a taster of beer and some food at the brewery. It has a great view from the patio of the ocean. The food is simple, grill cheese, pretzels, nachos, hot dogs, etc., but what we ordered was tasty. We also enjoy the wide variety of beers. Fun stop in Everett.

We had driven 500+ miles and stopped in Everett yesterday. We got here late afternoon on Saturday and there was a 30 minute wait in line to get in. It was raining, but there is an awning to stand under. Dress for the weather. Masks required. It is a huge store and is divided into different sections. My adult son is the collector and I had him on the phone telling him what was available. I found a few that he wanted to add to the specific groups that he collects plus a few funko exclusives. I was told that they get shipments on Wednesdays and Thursdays so I suggest for the best selection, to get there early on those days. I enjoyed seeing the store but my husband was not impressed.... lol.
