Eastbourne's premier contemporary art gallery. Two floors of original land and seascapes, figurative and abstract works. The gallery has been featured on BBC TV, ITV and many national and regional newspaperes and magazines. Schools visits by arrangement.
There are 2 floors full of original art by Nigel Greaves. The vibrancy of the paintings as you walk in is stunning. There are plenty of paintings in different styles and for different tastes. We received a warm welcome and particularly enjoyed the back story behind some of the paintings.

We have been visiting He ray Paddon for many years and have some wonderful local art from his shop from big and small, to quirky and cute. I love Arrington and can always find something to go with a new outfit here. Henry himself is a real gentleman; he always remembers your name and you never feel pressurised to buy. If there is something you would like but it is not in the shop he contacts the artists to see if he can source it. He is a gem and so is his shop.

This lovely little gallery is one of Eastbourne’s hidden gems! Whether you are looking for a present for someone special or for a piece of art for your own home, this is the place to look. The gallery is run as a collaborative venture by a group of very talented local artists. They sell paintings, prints, textiles, ceramics, fused glass, jewellery and art cards, all at affordable prices

Look out for the art gallery at the da Vinci in Eastbourne. The da Vinci Hotel offers an excellent venue for local artists with ongoing exhibitions in the spacious downstairs rooms. Recent shows have included work by a community group of disabled artists as well as the annual Open House exhibition. The latest exhibition is provided by FrockArt which is a group of Sussex based women artists who regularly exhibit together. The works is exhibited over 4 rooms and includes paintings, prints, photography and textiles. The exhibition is open between 10.00am and 5.00pm each day and runs until the 30th October. Members of the artist group will regularly be in residence to talk to visitors.

We walked from East Dean to Birling gap and then walked along to Beachy Head from there. Beautiful views of the cliffs and the National Trust centre at Birling was a good stop for cafe and toilets, plus dog-friendly.The volunteer from South Africa was incredibly helpful and even offered us a lift if we couldn't walk anymore!
