Not far from the vibrant Surfers Paradise is the calm and collected Broadbeach, a refuge of honey-colored sands. The Gold Coast town boasts incredible dining, thumping nightclubs, homey taverns and impressive shopping. Risk-takers and thrill-seekers can press their luck at the Conrad Jupiters Casino.

This has got to be the best time of year. So much atmosphere and so much music. The music is spread over many venues and they are all good bands and artists. It is not full on blues music which is good. There is a bit of rock, a bit of blues and a bit of most things plus lots of eating and drinking. There are thousands and thousands of people attend over 4 days but that just gives it more atmosphere. If you can’t get accommodation in Broadbeach maybe try Surfers Paradise or Main Beach which has the tram running to Broadbeach

Located next to Kurrawa Surf club, is this lovely green space, is part of a larger park area, which is very popular on weekends with visitors and locals alike, there is an excellent walkway to enjoy a stroll, as well as seating to have a rest, or watch the world go by.

What a beautiful beach! With the surf club on the doorstep and kids' play area not too far away, a walk on the beach was the perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Life savers were on duty and the water was a beautiful blue, with gentle waves. Loved it!

Pacific Fair is centrally located in the heart of the Gold Coast adjacent to the Star Gold Coast and the Broadbeach entertainment precinct. Pacific Fair is one of Australia's largest shopping centres and boasts an outstanding collection of luxury, high-street fashion, and dining and bar experiences, plus a world-class indoor/outdoor leisure and entertainment precinct and around 400 specialty stores. The centre also boasts two supermarkets, a fresh food market, Big W, David Jones, Kmart, Target and the Gold Coast’s largest Myer. Pacific Fair has a first-class Visitor Lounge including showers/amenities, luggage storage, coach set-down, free WiFi, stylist service, quiet room and an exclusive Visitor Privileges Pass with over a hundred special offers. There's also a free shopping shuttle that services Sea World (Southport) in the north to Burleigh Heads in the south daily (see website for timetable). A visit to the Gold Coast isn’t complete without a visit to Pacific Fair.
While holidaying at the Gold Coast we had the opportunity to go shopping at Pacific Fair, it had a range of tremendous and vast range of named stores and my favorite a massive food court to tingle your trate buds. Great place to kill some time and your pocket.

The City of Gold Coast and Disability Services Queensland joined forces to create the Gold Coast's first 'All Abilities Playground' at Kurrawa Pratten Park, Broadbeach. The park has proven extremely popular, providing an innovative, unique and entertaining play space for kids of all ages and abilities! The All Abilities Playground is one of our newest play spaces, featuring an accessible submarine, a mermaid, diver and fish, simulating the ocean environment. The kids will have a ball in this sea-themed playground, designed to cater to all ages and ability levels.
This well maintained park is well used as it is beautifully maintained and spacious. So many families use it for picnics, walks, ball games and it also has a great playground for young to mid age lids. We took the grandkids with their skipping ropes and frisbees and they had a fabulous time. The adjoining Kurrawa Surf Club is available for snacks and coffee.

Enjoy great service within a luxurious setting, with some of the Gold Coast's favourite dining and nightlife options just steps away..

Gold Coast's famous Sunday beachside market, held at Broadbeach on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month (see also Coolangatta Art and Craft market and Burleigh Art and Craft market for other Sunday locations). These markets have been running for over 20 years, come down to experience the friendly atmosphere, live music, yummy food and of course local art and crafts.
A lovely market with a variety of stalls, ranging from fruit and veg, hand made jewellery, leather goods, clothing. There is something for everyone. Setting is pleasant.

I have been here about 11 times over the years mostly passing through on my bicycle, an interesting park, it’s multi purpose firstly a war memorial so some great history it view, secondly it’s home to the largest bat colony’s on the Gold Coast and lastly it’s a beautiful manicured garden with a huge variety of flowers also there is about 6 Barbecue s and riverside seating as well as a lush forest walk all in one small area... right in the city, so cool. Plenty of parking or you can just ride your bike or better walk so you miss nothing , bring your camera.

This is a perfect place by the sea, to just hangout, plenty of eateries to enjoy, lots of seating, basically a pedestrianised thoroughfare, jazzed up, we especially love coming here at night with a the lights, also it is no where as hectic as cavill mall.
