We would recommend going here. Stay as close to the beach as there is access to lots of restaurants and fun things to do. We just walked across the street to get to the beach. The weather in November was warm. The water was warm enough to go into. but there were people going into the water. We relaxed a lot.

Just a really nice beach area with plenty of parking in a lot, restrooms, showers, picnic tables and Australian Pines you can sit close to for shade if you wish. It is a perfect calm water, gentle grade so young children can play, swim and collect shells.

Love this area because my husband does not enjoy the sun due to skin cancers. I walk the beach while he reads in the shade.

We stayed at BridgeWalk, a hotel at the very end of Bridge Street (near the beach). It's a pleasant street with a few shops and restaurants. The pier is at the other end; it's a nice place to walk around and enjoy views of the water. On Bridge Street are Bridge Street Bistro, Island Time Bar and Grill, BridgeWalk (hotel), Segs by the Sea (Segway and bike rentals), The Fish Hole Miniature Golf, Anna Maria Oyster Bar on the Pier, and other various places. Bridge Street worth a visit!
