We found this exceptional wine store through Trip Advisor, and Alda helped us pick out wonderful wine. She was very friendly, gave us great suggestions, and shared some of the history of the store with us. I am looking forward to drinking the bottles that we purchased here. Thank You, Alda! For your wonderful service and knowledge that you shared with us!

We found this shop quite by accident when in Bellagio - saw the TripAdvisor sign on the outside and went in.....so glad we did....so many beautiful scarves it was hard to choose from.

Eighteenth century cellar located in the center of Bellagio. We offer a wide selection of Italian wines, served with the best cold cuts and local cheeses. It is also possible to taste local craft beers and grappa. Available for birthday and graduation parties or special events.
A real hidden gem The food is good, the wine is really good and the owner will advise you perfectly. The location is built in a wonderful way. Bravi

This is what Italy is all about when you visit this scenic park on Lake Como, as you gaze upon the magnificent views of the distant Swiss Alps that seem to touch the waters of the lake.
After many decades, I went back to Punta Spartivento (= "cape of split wind") on a cold but clear winter day. The walk on foot from the pier is short, but it is closed between the fences of the villas, so that the unsuspecting traveler is suddenly displaced in the exciting view on this extreme northern end of Bellagio, overlooking the center of the lake, at the widest point - almost "on maritime way" wide - of the lake itself. Here is the peculiarity of Bellagio, which founded its fame, as it makes it so different from other, albeit beautiful, coastal locations: looking out over the three "horns" that make up the lake itself. Certainly going up on the hills behind the town you will discover other even more fascinating views; but this can be reached with an almost flat path, therefore within everyone's reach. Reading the geological history of the lake, I found that the straight ideal line that connects Bellagio to Varenna (on Eastern shore) was in the remote period occupied by a mountainous relief, and that the once huge glacier giving rise to Lake Como had to carry out excavation work and destruction of this relief, to continue its furrow towards the Lecco branch. This phenomenon - now readable only by an expert eye - helps to explain what the viewer may seem to be an "indecision" of the glacier: digging west towards Como, or south towards Lecco? In reality - as far as I understand - it isn't indecision, but erosive actions that have unfolded in consecutive periods. And this founds the exceptional shape of Lake Como among the Italian lakes (and not only them).

We are a small shop situated in the Borgo of Bellagio on lake Como. Specialised in leather and silk good with a great choice of ties, shirts, polo, belt, handbag, silk scarves and foulard.
The quaint, but extremely upscale and expensive, town of Bellagio is home to the best of the best. And the best place to shop for genuine, handmade, made to last forever, one-of-a-kind silk, ties, and leather goods is Bellagioseta. If I could only shop in one place in Italy, it would be Bellagioseta. It is located on the "second level" of the town,in the Church Square above the harbor, near many other interesting shops. We were walking the cobbled streets in a state of enchantment when we came upon this lovely shop with its window filled with many wondrous items that pulled us into the store like a magnet. The owner and his friendly staff are not pushy or aloof. they are friendly and helpful and they make shopping fun and delightful. And, yes, nothing is cheap in this wonderful shop, but you get what you pay for. And whatever you buy there will definitely get you noticed whenever you go for the rest of your life. I bought two ties that get praised whenever I wear them. And, if you can't make it to Bellagioseta, they have a website where you can do some on-line shopping. 'Il Capriccio' is the perfect place if you want to find out good Italians and leather shoes. We sell shoes for everyone, even for children.
Visitied in September 2019 and bought several pairs of shoes and handbags, great selection and great service. The only problem is that I live in Australia and want to order more shoes and I have lost their email address and cannot read Italian on their Ebay site to order more. If the owner of the shop is reading this please reply with your email address!!! I need more Nero Giardini shoes!!
