Beautiful fountain in a very well located spot in the city. The monumental Lions Fountain was built around 1887 by the Compagnie Generale des Eaux pour l'Etranger. This fountain is one of the most beautiful in all of Porto. It is a truly wonderful place that invites you to relax. I strongly recommend that you visit it as it is surrounded by many other things worth seeing.
