Barcelona feels a bit surreal – appropriate, since Salvador Dali spent time here and Spanish Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí designed several of the city’s buildings. Stepping into Gaudí’s Church of the Sacred Family is a bit like falling through the looking glass - a journey that you can continue with a visit to Park Güell. Sip sangria at a sidewalk café in Las Ramblas while watching flamboyant street performers, then create your own moveable feast by floating from tapas bar to tapas bar.

The Cascada Monumental is a breathtaking waterfall located inside of the huge Ciutadella Park. The Cascada is located at the northern corner of the park opposite to the lake. It was erected by Josep Fontsére and to a small extent by Antoni Gaudí, who at that time was still an unknown student of architecture. Beautiful tiered fountain rolling at the base of Venus statue. One of the most impressive attractions in Barcelona. Beautiful. Must see.

Seemingly lost in the blur of the La Rambla is this quiet tiled fountain that can be seemingly overlooked as the hordes travel past , the mosaic is of everyday life in the 18th century at the gateway to the city the ' Porta ferrica '

I am so glad to see the fountains of Barcelona now listed as attractions and this by far is the best of them all. It has it all, great design with the elegant lights and ironwork, great location on Las Ramblas, great history as a meeting place for Barcelona FC fans after games and most importantly a great ledgend as others have said. If you want to come back to Barcelona, drink from this fountain. Our entire family did in 2015 and we came back in 2017. This time, I was the only one to drink so I looks like I will be going back myself. Love the story and love this fountain. I'll be coming back and you should too if you love Barcelona.
