We had Ezy Driver pick us up from the Auckland airport early afternoon and take us to a private glow worm excursion in Waitomo. In order to make it to our excursion we had to carry all of our luggage with us in the vehicle (as our hotel wasn't ready for check in before we had to leave). The drive was 3 hours south into NZs north island. There were 5 of us and we rode in an 11 passenger minivan, it was spacious and clean and fit all of our luggage. Our driver was informative about the area and stopped to let us have lunch at a really good local cafe. He waited with our luggage for the 3 hour glow worm excursion and then drove us back to Auckland to our hotel. Our belongings were safe and our driver was attentive to our needs. Ezy Driver is highly recommended!

A leisurely walking tour discovering hidden bars where Auckland comes alive after dark. You go early so you can remember where to come at night! These are hard to find hot spots off the beaten track where locals in the know go in the old part of town. Some of our highlights are; a bar set in Auckland'™s first picture theatre; bars in cellars below sea level; a house bar in an Art Deco Hotel and more. Discover Auckland's hidden bar culture and their barmen, owners or managers as you visit a number of venues around the city centre where you will be treated to an array of fabulous cocktail tastings using seasonal, local and imported ingredients. The tour includes dialogue of downtown Auckland'™s colonial history and geography as well as information about the bar visited and the bar's philosophy behind the drinks they make. Go where the locals go and feel like a local with your local guide in a small group.

Join us on a scenic foodie adventure as you taste and sip your way around the Bay of Plenty region, named by the great explorer Captain James Cook. On this bountiful foodie tour you will get at least 8 tastings which may include: artisan baked goods, local cheeses, seafood, Manuka honey, berries, fruits, famous pies and home made kiwifruit ice cream to name a few. Depending on the day of the tour we may stop at the local farmers market to see the seasonal produce, or it might be a visit to our favourite coffee roaster to learn about the new coffee trends. You will visit kiwi fruit and avocado orchards which dominate agriculture in the region, and I will also take you to one of the most historic and beautiful beaches in New Zealand to taste an iconic kiwi favourite! If you are foodie you will love this tour!!

Visited Rotorua Village and the Geothermal valley on the same day I think it was part of the glow worm tour (which i don't recommend). The village tour was okay. They dance and sing and its very traditional. I liked the Geothermal Valley. Really cool.

I just wanted to thank you for making the food tour happen especially for us at such short notice and accommodating our tight schedule. As you predicted, we loved spending the afternoon with Jono who is passionate and knowledgeable about Auckland and has a charming engaging personality. He not only accommodated our diets but he ended our tour on a sweet high note with hokey pokeys from Giapo. This was on my husband’s ‘must go to’ list.
