Craigow Vineyard is a picturesque 11 hectare vineyard at Cambridge in the Coal River Valley. The vineyard was established in 1989 and has already produced a number of Australia's top award winning wines. Current varieties are pinot noir, chardonnay, riesling, and gewurztraminer. The vineyard is part of the historic property of Craigow. An original workmans cottage has been converted into a cellar door outlet for wine tastings and sales; and is open at weekends from September to April as well as at other times by appointment.
Hugh delivered a wonderful cellar door tasting experience. It was extremely friendly, relaxed and personal. The sparkling merlot is on my wish list, but I happily took away a lovely Sav Blanc. Our group of four rated it one of the best cellar door experiences we've had. Thanks Hugh for your time and effort.

Delamere Vineyards is a small, family run vineyard in North-East Tasmania. The Cellar Door is attached to the winery so you may catch a glimpse of our hard working winemakers and owners, Fran Austin & Shane Holloway, as they create some of the finest Sparkling wines, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the estate. Sit back and enjoy a glass of wine in our beautiful gardens. Let the kids pick something from the toy box or chase the chickens in our spacious grounds whilst you relax.
We took the option of tasting Delamere's wines with a platter of goodies. Love the flexibility in choice of wine combinations for tasting for each of us, and the freedom of selecting the cheeses, cured meats, crackers and accompaniments - a VERY gourmet YUMMY range to choose from too! The al fresco setting for an enjoyable lunch was made even more perfect by staff happily shifting the only table left available to a shady spot... coming to chat about the chosen wine and food only after we're well and truly into our meal... obviously expertly gauging our preferred palates as out came an extra glass of an untried red for hubby and white for me. Obviously we bought: their premium wines and sparkling are, as always, sublime to the palate... and were pleasantly surprised that lunch was on the house for club members!

We are a family owned distillery producing small batch gin and whisky. When you come to visit us you will meet us right in the distillery where we work and you will meet the people who actually create the products and who will share details of the process with you as you enjoy a tasting. We suggest you call ahead as sometimes circumstances mean we have an unexpected interruption to our advertised hours.
My new wife and I fell in love with the gin and whiskey instantly. Experiance was incrediable too, tasting was free because we bought a gin and Rex included another speical Hemp Gin tasting free. Best sloe gin and whiskey Ive ever tried. We went back and bought another two bottles after hellfire. Highly recommended.

Great boutique brewery & distillery. They do a beer tasting paddle for $15. Its great value as they are decent size tasters. Also if you purchase something after you receive a discount on your purchase. My favourite were their Sessions Pale Ale & the Dark Ale. They also distill some great vodka & gins. They then do premixers with these. My favourite was their Grumpy Mule Vodka (ginger & bitters). Also super friendly staff.

Loretta and Andy are so welcoming and friendly. Our overnight accommodation was tastefully presented, great queen size bed, lounge room and kitchenette, seperate loo and great bathroom, (including a bath) and shower. Andy made the BBQ available for me to cook our dinner. The breakfast was scrumptious and most generous including freshly baked bread, juice, home made jams plus fresh fruit and cereals. A fabulous cheese platter was presented to accompany pre dinner drinks. A wander around 2.5 hectares of vines with the grapes forming with some varieties not available anywhere else in the World. Minimal but efficient grape presses and some 20 barrels filled with several varieties of wine. Loretta gave us a personal tour with bottles under her arm for wine tasting along the way. All provided with passion and love accompanied by their Black Labrador, Archie. A must visit winery in the Coal River Vally and a wonderful place to stay. Richmond is a close 2 kilometre walk or drive. Nearly Tuscany.

The wines Kate Hill produces are truly stunning as is she as the winemaker. James Halliday gives this small winery 5 stars and it is truly deserved. Campbell Mattinson raves about Kate's 2016 Riesling (Halliday gives it 97/100) and her 2017 Riesling is just as scrumptious. Also try her Pinot Noir - and just about anything else that Kate has a hand in. If you don't stop off, try and buy her wines, you are missing something very special. Amazing stuff from a lady who is happy to have a lovely conversation with anyone who enjoys wine. We loved our stop off.

Step inside Australia's oldest operating brewery, nestled at the foot of the majestic Mount Wellington, to learn how Cascade has been crafting beer since 1832. Our guides will share Cascade's fabled recipe; a dash of history, a healthy dose of Tasmania's finest ingredients and a generous serve of brewing craft. You can take a tour or just relax and enjoy Cascade beers and Mercury ciders, savour a delicious lunch and wander our three acres of heritage gardens.
From the cannons at the front gate to the fermentation room on the top floor, this informative tour taught us about the secrets of beer making and the convict workers who enjoyed five 10 minute beer drinking sessions each day when the bell rang! Lucinda was a terrific guide.

The tour was a great insight of beer making and the history of James Boag and Launceston. Our tour guide Nicole was fantastic, very informative and entertaining. This tour is definitely worth doing if you’re in Launceston.

Our winery, founded in 1962, focuses on a small, very high-quality output. From estate-grown fruit, our ultra-premium wines are made using small-batch winemaking techniques in our gravity-assisted winery. Taste it on site, at our festivals, or at select venues around the country.
Moorilla Estate is located directly next to MONA and is absolutely worth a visit. There is a winery tour available and Cellar Door for wine tastings. A casual restaurant and the more formal restaurant The Source are also part of the winery but bookings are usually necessary. Allow time to pop in when visiting MONA or make it an extra visit to enjoy all that Moorilla has to offer.

The best whisky tour I have done. It runs you through the whole process while it is happening and lets you taste it at various stages. Fantastic tour.
