The Wine Loft Brixham

Reviewed By 56lind - Brixham, United Kingdom

We were recommended to go to the wine loft by friends who know the owners and we weren’t disappointed. Claire and her husband are incredibly knowledgeable about wine, I still dream about the Tasmanian pink champagne! We had such a great time we bought vouchers for my sister and brother-in-law to treat themselves and they too had a beautiful evening. Really different wines to try buy the glass and buy to take home as well as tasty Tapas, cheese, hams and olives. Their Covid routines make you feel very safe as well as warm and hospitable. This is a lovely place for a treat as well as just a pop in before you go home for supper in the evening. If you’re in Brixham a nearby, this is not to be missed.

The Gin Nest

The Gin Nest provides each person with the chance to design and create their own one-off bottle of gin to take home with them using a traditional copper pot still. During the gin-making experience there is discussion on the history of gin, the different styles of gin, methods of distillation and botanicals used. Choose your own botanicals, create your label and bottle your gin.

What a fantastic morning! A real treat learning about gin, the different botanicals that can be used and how they interact with the fundamental flavour profile of juniper. Thoroughly recommend a visit a really enjoyable couple of hours

CoCo Cocktail And Wine Bar

Curiously now called Cru but still same wonderful team. The fab position hasn't changed and still excellent value. Enjoy the evening sunshine and people watching whilst soaking up the view over a cheeky cocktail or bottle of wine.

Brixham Gin

We’re Brixham Gin, a family run seaside gin distillery. Founding Brixham Gin has been an amazing adventure so far, and we can’t wait for it to continue. We make gin with a smooth finish and a little touch of coastal history. Red Sails is Brixham Gin’s flagship recipe, named after the ochre stained sails of Brixhams historic fishing trawlers
