The best wine experience I have ever had. Christian, our tour guide took us on a wonderfully personal tour of the vineyard and the winery - sharing knowledge and expertise that was extremely enlightening. The tastings were sublime and we were blown away by the whole experience. Such a great thing to do. Fantastic!

Traditional cellars used for the elaboration of pisco
Loved this distillery, we were given a tour by the owner in English without any prior reservation and it was just perfect. Started with a taster pisco sour, then the tour, then the tastings of the pisco itself. Really special place, can tell that the family really care for what they do.

Visiting Santa Rita winery is a fascinating journey through Chile’s cultural heritage and Chilean wine tradition, only 45 minutes from Santiago. At the foot of the mountains in Alto Jahuel, Buin, the winery is surrounded by a unique environment where wine-making tradition, Chilean history, culture and gastronomy are blended together. To complement the different tours, the Andean museum exhibits over 2,000 pieces from Pre-Columbian and Post-Conquest Chile. In addition, our wine shop offers you the best selection of wines from our cellars, beautiful local crafts and wine-tastings. For lunch or just a snack The Doña Paula restaurant and La Panaderia Café offer you the best of Chilean gastronomy. Visitors can enjoy a unique and diverse experience all in one place, just steps away from Santiago.
Excellent tour! Don’t miss the park (arboretum), with specimen trees, villa and black neck swans). The museum is very special!! Pre-Colombian artifacts, wonderful displays, leave time for this. Very historic winery with great cellar and good tour!

Casona Veramonte is a meeting place, where we create unique and unforgettable experiences around the good things in life: family, food, friends and the finest wines.
Our tour stopped here for a couple of hours to taste some of their different wines. Both white and reds were offered. We looked at where wine is made in at the facility and strolled through the vineyard where some of the small grapes were starting to blossom.

We visited this winery as part of our tour with Colchagua Wine Tours. We had a tour and tasting. The best thing about this winery are the views from the rooftop (make sure you stop at the rooftop after your tour to take some more photos without crowds) and the wine tasting room. The winery itself felt a bit corporate and did not have as much as a local history and connection to the community as some of the other wineries we visited. The wine was good and some of the reds were a bit on the dry side - still good wine, just making you aware. It's also a smaller winery.

Founded in 1856, Cousino Macul is the only winery in Chile amongst those established in the 19th century that continues in the hands of the original founding family. The company remains 100% under family control, producing limited quantities of fine wines. The mission of Cousino Macul is to produce world-class wines that are unmistakably Chilean, carrying the distinctive character of the Maipo Valley.
We took the premium tour with an absolutely fantastic tour guide Amaro who combined history and humor in a totally enjoyable tour with tastings along the route. Then Amaro provided us with a delightful tasting of six wines each with a wine pairing that was scrumptious. Gracias Amaro, you made our day

If you only make one winery visit whilst visiting Chile this is the one.No question.Wonderful wines, excellent guided tour, fantastic tasting and quality and well presented food all handled with skill and professionalism. Nothing but praise. The tasting was of seven wines with my two favourites being the 2017 Aconcagua Alto Carmenere and then the incomparable 2016 Don Maximiano Founders Reserve.OK so they all were very good but these two were the best.Cold buffet lunch which highlighted tender rare beef and sweet cured salmon followed by masses of fruit. The estate stretches as far as the eye can see with avocado and almond groves high up on the hillsides surrounding the modern futuristic winery which overlooks the original property below. A remarkable visit.
