We are a small, artisinal winery specializing in Chardonnay, Rose, Pinot Noir, Syrah and Gamay. We farm organically & produce wines and will be making bread from our own Italian rye. Our winemaker and breadmaker is Sashi Moorman, and we are planting olive trees, stone fruit trees and more. We have chickens and livestock that feed the ranch workers who live on the property.
An ATV ride through the vineyard shows off the landscape. Then, enjoy a private tasting with the excellent Pence staff. Burgundian wine lovers (Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay) this is your spot. Not overly oaked, some fruit without any loss of structure in the pinots. The Unum and Fugio (Estate grown Pinot Noir) show off the winemaker's talent for creating two drastically different expressions of Pinot from such a small parcel of land. Cozy, yet classy ranch vibe. I brought my parents who are new to wine (midwestern folks, visiting) and they loved it as well.

We enjoyed the tasting experience. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable, not only about the tastings but also gave us some pointers about the area. We bought some Gin. It had a unique flavor and was very smooth. Definitely recommend it as a quick and fun thing to do.

With a dream to define truth in wine, owner/winemaker Matt Kowalczyk and wife Stephanie Lopez set out to create a unique boutique wine experience built on integrity. Ten years of searching for the best vineyards, working with the best wine makers, practicing innovative wine making techniques, and creating a distinctively different feel has now blossomed into their own winery and tasting room to share with the world. Focusing on bold Bordeaux, Rhone and Burgundian varietals Buscador, meaning "Searcher", is about loving the search and the search is the meaning in wine, in love and in life. Love Your Search.
Great wine tasting room with wonderful wines. Atmosphere is charming and always visit when in Buellton/Santa Ynez.

Cholame Vineyard is a small production winery located in San Miguel, CA at the southern tip of Monterey County. Vintner David DuBois recently opened his first Tasting Room in Buellton. Located at 140 Industrial Way, visitors can sample a selection of our estate grown red varietals in addition to white varietals from Santa Barbara right in the middle of our winery where we make our wine and store our barrels. We invite everyone who visits the Santa Ynez Valley and locals to stop by and learn about the history of Cholame Vineyard, enjoy a tasting and take home some award-winning wine to enjoy with family and friends.

We were fortunate enough to visit Marco and Section Wines during a private wine tour and it was EASILY the highlight of our trip (and the easiest decision to join a Membership we have ever made). Marco is delightfully engaging, personable, and every ounce of passion and love he has put into his wines shows through - both in discussing his methods of winemaking, his love of wine, and his background in the wine industry. And although Marco may not have a grand estate on which to taste his wines (yet!), that is more than made up for by the quality of the wines, the closeness of the connection, and the joy in celebrating wine and art that a tasting at Section Wines will engender. We had a spectacular tasting across Section Wines's range of wines, including the Vermentino, Arneis, Viognier, Rose, Pinot Noir, Cabernet, and the BDX. Each was unique, delicious, hewed so well to classic European winemaking and techniques, and was coupled with Marco delightfully explaining his wines, his flavors, and the background of both the wine and the art adorning the bottle. I highly recommend you give Marco and Section Wines a visit. Experience joy and a love of wine in a glass with the most engaging and personable winemaker I've ever met. You will be surprised, impressed, and overjoyed that you found Marco and Section Wines! I know we look forward to being club members for a long time to come, and will eagerly watch his star continue to rise. Thank you Marco!

A winery, barrel & wine-tasting lounge with a “hip” modern industrial luxury vibe that is a cross between a New York “Soho” music venue and a beautiful “Napa Valley” tasting lounge. Featuring 90-96 point wines. Amazing reds, crisp whites, yummy sparkling and much more. Emjoy the 5000 sq ft patio and outside seating. A true luxury experience in Buellton.

Alma Rosa Winery & Vineyards was founded in 2005 by Sta. Rita Hills pioneer winegrower, and Vineyard Hall of Fame inductee, Richard Sanford. Alma Rosa Winery & Vineyards places a focus on cool-climate varietals best suited to the Sta. Rita Hills AVA, chiefly Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, with additional production of Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris. The wines are distinctive, expressive, and are exemplary of the region. Alma Rosa Winery & Vineyards is committed to sustainable agricultural and business practices including organic farming and green building techniques. Alma Rosa's estate vineyards are certified organic by California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF), and were the first to achieve that recognition in the region. The name Alma Rosa is a tribute to the soul of the original Santa Rosa land grant on which the estate vineyards are planted. We look forward to sharing our wines with you!
Located just off Highway 101 in an industrial area which also houses (literally next door) the Industrial Eats restaurant the Alma Rosa tasting room was nice experience. It has a modern, non bar type of feel to it and families are welcome. We visited on a Friday after lunch and were warmly greeted. It was a very unhurried and great tasting experience. The wines themselves: Outstanding, particularly their Chardonnay varietals. Pretty much everything you'd want in a wne of this type. Their wines aren't necessarily cheap (mostly $35-60.00/bottle) but you get what you pay for. After we had visited several wineries that day and next we decided to join their wine club and visited them again on Saturday afternoon. The experience was nice but harried. They simply didn't have enough staff to really personalize the visit and we felt lucky that we had visited under much calmer circumstances the day before. All in all a great visit.
