Yorkshire (/ˈjɔːrkʃər, -ʃɪər/; abbreviated Yorks), formally known as the County of York, is a historic county of Northern England and the largest in the United Kingdom. Due to its great size in comparison to other English counties, functions have been undertaken over time by its subdivisions, which have also been subject to periodic reform. Throughout these changes, Yorkshire has continued to be recognised as a geographical territory and cultural region. The name is familiar and well understood across the United Kingdom and is in common use in the media and the military, and also features in the titles of current areas of civil administration such as North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire and East Riding of Yorkshire.

Quite unusual to review an antique shop, its a shop really and not a tourist attraction! This is an excellent old school antique shop always well stocked with oak and country furniture at affordable prices. A genuine and friendly owner makes this as good a reason as any to visit Hawes. 19th and 18th century country furniture, slip ware, collectables and decorative objects.

If you haven't shopped at HAM CORNER and BRACEWELLS BUTCHERS in Todmorden Market - you haven't lived!! HAM CORNER is a confectioners, sandwich/salad provider - pies, savoury and sweet, quiches, cooked meats and so much more. Portions are ENORMOUS and prices are CHEAP. Staff are amazing - helpful, efficient and very friendly. Couldn't recommend it highly enough. BRACEWELLS is a family butchers and provides first class personal service, superb meats and there is nothing to fault. Tender, full of flavour and nothing is too much trouble. All cuts catered for. Tod Market is a great place to visit - a blast from the past with first class goods on offer.

What a lovely little market right in the heart of Knaresborough with a wide range of items including craft and paper goods, bags, shoes , plants and flowers and beautiful local fruit and veg at very reasonable prices . The market square is worth seeing too.

A vibrant mix of street food, drink, shops, a community theatre, a brewery, art and more. Our businesses are all independent, local to York, and all with a social purpose to their work.
Loved this place so trendy. The drinks were reasonably priced as was most of the food. Some was a little more on the expensive side but all have menu boards outside so you can choose. There is currently a one way system in place and hand gel stations throughout. The toilets are unisex but were clean. You can not smoke anywhere within the establishment you have to leave and standout outside. Gluten free menus were available at some venders but options were limited. Would definitely recommend if you are out for drinks in York and not everyone wants the same to eat or wants a snack rather than a meal

Vibrant Antiques, Collectables and Vintage Wares. Based in sheffield antiques quarter with around 4 other antiques centres close by. The Emporium has over 50 dealers across 2 floors. There is plenty of car parking right outside. Visitors take items they wish to purchase to the front desk in order to pay. Huge range of wares, great to rummage and good prices.
I am new to the antique emporium/flea market shopping experience and was delighted to stumble across this place. Greeted by friendly staff and headed straight for the cafe, the smell draws you there. Delicious, home cooked lunch at very reasonable prices. Unfortunately too full for cake, which looked amazing. Oh well there is always a next time. When you first walk in you think it is only small but trust me it goes on and on. Just navigating your way around is an adventure in its self, there is so much to see! I can’t really comment on the prices, like I said I am new to this so don’t have much to compare it too but seemed OK to me. Not really a place for children as lots of potential breakages but an excuse to go on your own I suppose.
