I am never disappointed after a trip to High Street! Such a lovely antique mall and the Chocolate Angel Tea Room is fantastic!

First Monday, Canton began more than a century ago and has grown to become the largest outdoor vendor and flea market in the world. This epic event takes place each month on the 4 days preceding the first Monday of the month. Spread across over 450 acres, the event is home to makers, pickers, creators, and thrifters who come together to sell items ranging from antiques, fashion, home furnishings, and more. It’s often been said, if you can’t buy it or sell it at First Monday Trade Days, it can’t be bought or sold.” Millions of visitors enjoy the shopping adventure of a lifetime during this one of a kind market. The festival grounds are adjacent to Historic Downtown Canton, Texas and offer a full range of festival foods, entertainment, as well as several R.V. Campgrounds.
My husband and I have been to Trader's Day every year during our decades of marriage. Our favorite place to shop is the area of open booths all around the civic building that we nicknamed "The Bad Lands". I love how the vendors bargain with you unlike the covered pavilions. Comfortable shoes, rolling cart, and dress for the weather are all a must!

The Texarkana, Texas Farmers' Market is an open air market in historic downtown Texarkana. We promote healthy, locally grown food. You'll find information about the market, our growers and vendors, as well as tips about cooking, growing, and processing market produce. We're open as long as the produce holds out, Saturdays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 7AM til we are sold out.

This is my first time to this event (which is held every 1st Saturday of the month). The street is closed on both ends and booths are set up everywhere. Found some good bargains on vinyls and books. Good munchie booths and fun music. A good way to spend a few hours.
