I would go grab a flat white and explore all the cool vendors with unique crafts and amazing food vendors. I really liked how the little market kind of just went on and on and on. Each vendor had their very own unique craft, jewelry, custom leather bags. It’s a great thing to do on a lazy Sunday morning

There's a great selection of stalls at Kirribilli Markets. I especially liked all the cheap clothing stalls.

The Biggest Indoor Market Place in the Southern Hemisphere. Parklea Markets boast the biggest, most vibrant and colourful market place in the Southern Hemisphere. Parklea Markets is a treasure trove of international food, fashion and flair displaying all the best Australia has to offer all under one roof with thousands of bargains. There are toys, tools, kitchenware, camping / fishing goods, cosmetics, jewellery, fresh flowers, computer software, souvenirs, car accessories, plants, gardening goods and much, much more. In the clothing stakes, Parklea Markets excels with a colourful range of garments right across the spectrum. Fresh fruit and vegetables, superb seafood, deli, butcher, frozen food and it's own bakery, as well as 3 automatic teller machines. And if the wealth of goods doesn't keep you on your feet for hours of browsing, there are plenty of fast food outlets and cafes where you can restock on energy.
All under one roof you will find fresh fruit and vegetables, pet shop, nursery, bakery, Deli, butcher, fresh seafood and a barber. Along side what you would normally see at a market like Paddy's. There is plenty of on-sight parking, toilets and ATM's. For lunch there is a variety of food trucks and food stores . Just a tip, its quite big so go to the information center and ask for a free map of the markets first. Do your rounds then get your groceries before you leave.

I haven't been to Manly at the weekend for some years but always liked it. On a visit today we had time to kill so wandered the market. I was surprised that it has tripled in size and not only that but there was no junk. I am very cynical about the usual crappy market but Manly was actually pretty good. The usual artwork, glass, leather, phone cases, clothes, jewellery and so on. Not too much Australiana but even that was decent souvenir level. Also a couple of enterprising cafes in the street had put tables out in the sun. And the far end from The Corso had a farm stall with fresh vegetables. Most markets are just commercial made in Asia bits and pieces but not here, I am guessing the market operators must have a selection process to exclude all that. I am a local but if you are visiting Sydney and feel like a nice ferry ride down The Harbour you would not be disappointed to come here. I was fairly impressed on today's showing.
