From flat-topped Table Mountain down to the blue waters of Table Bay, Cape Town is simply stunning, but the city doesn't thrive by its looks alone. Proudly multicultural, its flourishing arts, dining, and nightlife scenes are proof of this modern metropolis' creativity and innovative spirit.

Where Cape Town meets for culinary delights and fine local designs. A vibrant community in the heart of Woodstock where talented people come together to share, collaborate and show off their heartfelt passions. The Old Biscuit Mill is home to dynamic office spaces, a range of workshops and designer stores, decadent restaurants, food stalls as well as an inspiring line-up of day and night-markets, festivals and productions. Come and explore the Old Biscuit Mill and meet some of South Africa’s most innovative and creative designers, artists, photographers and connoisseurs of fine taste and décor. Moreover, the Mill – as it’s affectionately known – houses some of the city’s most charming architecture and, since its revitalisation over 10 years ago, has secured its spot as one of Cape Town’s favourite destinations
We saw the rave reviews about the market and went relatively early on a Saturday to get the full experience. It was a good call to leave early as the parking situation is not great and we were lucky to find a space. The market itself is spilt into a foodie section and other goods (shoes, clothing, leather goods, etc.). The foodie bit is great, a real experience. You could find all the different foods you never knew you wanted to try. We had an excellent breakfast, which was so generous that it filled us up for almost the entire day. We got some ceramics and other bits and pieces. We liked it so much that we wanted to go back another day to have a look at the surrounding area without the hussle and bustle of a busy Saturday. If you can spend some time walk around the area, if you're lucky enough to live in South Africa definately go there to check out all the different interior shops. They are amazing and the prices seemed very fair too. It's an arty area with lots of street art and galleries. Most enjoyable

** CLOSED for Winter | Reopening Sunday 1 September '19** Situated on the stunningly scenic and historic Lourensford Wine Estate, we didn’t have to add much to appeal to all the senses. When visiting, you are spoiled with sprawling lawns, majestic trees and newly landscaped, award-winning gardens with an interactive fountain. A rare and special space to soak up all of nature’s beauty! Add to that our vibrant market, boasting with more than 70 permanent stalls, as well as a number of Pop-ups to ensure an interesting mix. Housed in a permanent u-shaped structure with both a modern and rustic feel – it is unlike any other market space around. Quality products are our first priority and when strolling from vendor to vendor, you will find everything from delectable food, uniquely handmade wares and original art, to organic, locally sourced, artisanal produce. The Estate’s superb wine collection alongside ABRU craft beer, complement the inevitable festive atmosphere.
Wine tasting, excellent restaurants, wonderful gardens, play areas for the young ones, a food market, art gallery, a water fountain in which the kids are allowed to play on a sunny day, makes Lourensford THE place to visit.

Rosebank Sunday Market is a MUST-SEE attraction if you love handmade arts and crafts. We had a wonderful day there, and I do recommend that you spend several hours in order to see it all. Lunch can be had there too, there are many delicious food stands. We bought ALL of our presents and souvenirs at this market and we were done. I met the makers of the jewelry I bought and I am thrilled with the entire experience. Really great! I can't recommend this enough.

è un mercato che si tiene alla domenica davanti allo stadio di Green Point
Many vendors have set up stalls in the Green Street park area. After reading previous reviews, we did not expect much but we were greatly surprised at the variety, quality and unique souvenirs. Sure some of the vendors wanted us to look at their merchandise but we have experienced very aggressive vendors in Mexico and these do not compare to them at all. The prices are inflated but the vendors expect to barter with you. Do not go if you do not want to barter for lower prices. I bought some scarves with elephants and zebras. We bought a springbok skin that was beautiful and reasonably priced. My son found an African designed stone plate and my daughter found a silver Tree of Life necklace. We have seen the exact same merchandise in brick and mortar stores and the prices are a lot higher especially in the V& A Waterfront. Highly recommend shopping here. We only paid in cash and not sure that credit cards are accepted.

Lovely jubbly. As long as it’s not raining and the wind is not hurricane force there are loads of stalls selling everything from shmutter to shmutter! We have found some great bits and bobs here including home grown fruit and veg, home baked breads and great samosas. We have always found the stall holders friendly. It’s the way car boot fairs used to be. Parking is easy and safe. Just hold onto your hat - boy can that wind blow.

Greenmarket Square is one of Cape town's oldest markets, full of crafts, jewelry, clothing and curios at a great value.
Greenmarket Square is a great place to visit in the daytime for souvenirs. There is a completely hassle free environment. With vendors ensuring your not harassed by people on the periphery. Bargaining is usual but it’s not aggressive in any way. Our hotel was directly over-looking the market. A word of caution though - once the market has packet up. The area completely changes and it’s like running a gauntlet to get to the restaurants across the square in the evening. With beggars aggressively hassling you. In the day time there is security/tourist type police highly visible. The evening is totally different in this area. Be aware/cautious of you surroundings after dark in this area.
